After all the talk the last week or so about the Ravens getting T.O., I couldn't help but be a little envious that they landed him for little of nothing.....then Terrell Owens had to open his mouth and start complaining even before he's played a game for them.

In case some of you missed ESPN Sportscenter last night, he was doing a live interview and all but said that he is not happy being a Raven and would have prefered to play for the Eagles - who he thought the 49ers were working a trade with.

I never have had very much respect for him, resulting from the various incidents that he has pulled throughout the years - Sharpie celebration, standing on the Cowboys' star at midfield, etc... Nothing major I guess really, but placing himself above his team in a league built around the TEAM concept seems to come very easy for him...and he shrugs it off like he's owed something because of his accomplishments.

I'm not sure how Ravens' fans or anyone else views his latest comments, but I wouldn't want him on my team - regardless of what he can do on the field. Who knows how all this will turn out, maybe he'll end up being an Eagle when everything is said and done...but yet again TO has put himself ahead of his potential teammates and has yet to even put on the purple and black colors.

I'm curious as to how the Ravens' diehard fans feel about this latest incident - are you happy to have a guy that really doesn't want to play for your team?

personally if i were apart of the ravens team myself i wouldnt want him on my team since i too saw the interview.to me that was a stab at the ravens by someone that is a good wr dont get me wrong but i honestly think there are some better wrs in the league but thats just me.i just hope this doesnt distract the ravens even though im not a fan of theres.

not only are there better wideouts in the league, but there are better team players in the league.

I have never heard Hines, Harrision, or Holt call out their teams. Hines does all the little things to help win games. I know Harrison has several passes thrown to him everygame, but you never hear a word from the guy. Holt is one heck of a player too, but he needs not tell us or sign a sharpie to get on TV. TO is one heck of a player dont get me wrong, but i would not pick him up. There are several wideouts with less talent i would take over TO.

I really dont want to see TO on tv or in the NFL anymore. I am sick of the guy! He needs to shut his mouth and play. He should be thanking the Ravens for giving him the opportunity to play the game. He should be talking about how he is excited to be apart of this team. I really think he problem is that we knows he wont be able to do his little antics.

I personally am not a fan of Ray Lewis, but i do respect his ability and leadership skills. Lewis would not take someone coming in speaking how great "he" is and not the team. Lewis is a very good team player. TO is not. Philly lacks that vocal leader like lewis who would put TO in his place. TO knows that and i think that has a lot to do with this.
