Ok I finally witnessed a blocked field goal, thanks to yours truly :). Sega screwed it up lol. The second my guy touched the ball they blew the whistle, then the ball just kept going like normal through the uprights but they didn't count the point. No graphic of the ball getting knocked down, so if you ever block a fg that's not an extra point, looks like no chance of runnin it back for a td. Sega, this is a simple thing, so simple I can't believe it got overlooked. A simple tiny error in the code, that you forget to test because it's so hard to block in the 1st place.

It appeared some guy actually blocked an extra point kick on me yesterday....the comentators even said it was blocked and no good. However, the ball went through the defender's body and it counted....very odd. Must defintely be a glitch with blocking kicks. It was so rare to see I almost wanted to give the guy a free touchdown for being able to do it...lol.

Yesterday I was playing offline (Cowboys) and on an extra point I picked what ever defense I played last. You know the obligatory "X" "X" "X" (PS2) button pick whatever play because it doesn't matter if you pick block filed goal or not situation. I think it was some kind of 4-3. Anyways against the eagles my corner back Mario Edwards rushed in from the right side and just ran right in front of the kicker and his body blocked the Extra Point! I had him selected as my player to control but, didn't control him. He didn't dive, jump, or anything. He just beat the kicker to the ball. He isn't even that fast. I replayed it and replayed it. Don't know how it happened why it happened, and I can't duplicate it. I really wish I could. It could come in handy, although if it happened every time it would quickly turn to chesse, and then I would never use it. Anybody else ever get this to happen.?

I blocked a FG and ran it back for a TD once. It IS possible, but you have to block it backwards or have it stay in the backfield. The ball basically fell to the ground and my DE picked it up and ran it all the way in.
