I started an Association yesterday, and after one season, Amare was in free agency. I signed him. Score. Long story short, I didn't save that dynasty. Today, I started a dynasty again with intention of saving this time, but when I get to FA, Amare isn't there, he's already re-signed with the Suns before I ever get a chance to sign him. I started a new dynasty over and over again, probably 6 or 7 times, and Amare re-signed with the Suns EVERY TIME. Was my experience yesterday a rare occurance? Is there a reason why Amare never appeared in Free Agency in the 6-7 times I tried today?

That's rare. Any star in the FA is rare unless the team he was origionally on doesn't have the kind of money for him.

This is just a guess.
Everytime you start a new association (*cough please don't degrade this to Live's Dynasty) each team have a different goal.
This is mostly apparent when playing fantasy drafts because it can get apparent maybe even a bit obvious what a certain team's theme is.
For ex. When Bobcats got Yao Ming, they then went on to get Rashard Lewis, Antawn Jamison, Penny and Marko Jaric. This is a tall team and a heck of a problem to stop for a jump shooting team.
All new fantasy draft, Bulls got Yao, this time I got Jamison. End result, they still went on to get Rashard and they have Jared Jeffries as a bench player. Still almost the same format except because there's not enough tall players, Bulls opted for a two big man team. Rashard gets lots of perimeter shots because of his height outside and Yao gets a lot of rebounds and inside shots. Still a tough team to guard because double teaming one guy makes the other guy score.
Anyway I guess depending on the team's goals for that time, they get certain free agents they want.
Mostly though a team with the same sets of players rarely deviate from their goals (There are always exceptions). I remember anyone getting Shaq will most likely get Rasheed in the fantasy draft. Probably the time the Suns didn't sign Amare early is because they have a different plan and when you restarted, the "Ai" of the Suns' goal reverted to their more common ways the rest of the time then again, maybe I'm putting too much thought into this and this is just completely random.

Simple as the Suns resigned him

The decision to re-sign an expensive free agent is slightly random each time but weighted to how good the free agent is. You got extremely lucky finding him unsigned by the Suns.

Sorry but you won't get him! It is definately a coincidence
