The Rangers announced today that the club has acquired defenseman Karel Rachunek and left wing Alexandre Giroux from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for defenseman Greg de Vries. In addition, the Blueshirts announced that the club has acquired right wing Sandy McCarthy from the Boston Bruins and center Mike Green from the Florida Panthers, claiming them both off waivers.
