HELP NEEDED!!! Style Rotation

I have just got Amped 3 and im stuck, i cant do the style rotation, and it has no useful help in the game about it, please help me, i will never get passed this bit if nobody tells me how! I think it is the 3rd lesson with Sebastian

Try barely moving the left thumbstick in a certain direction. The trick is to get your boarder to slowly rotate around. You're not trying to do a 720, rather just do a slower, consistent spin. Barely moving the ****og stick in one direction is the key.

To do different tricks just tap buttons in different combinations. For example, double tap Y and hold it for a sec to get some points, then tap X, Y, A to do a more difficult move. It really depends on what tricks you've unlocked thus far as to what tricks you can pull off. Do three or four different tricks and you should pull it off.
