I won't be picking this up this year. If the game came out in January I would have been more inclined to purchase but because Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare comes out 2 days after (10th) and MLB 2k6 comes out after that, not only will I not have time to play the games but I won't want to s**** out $120 on two sports games. I end up trading them in at the end of the season, sports games don't have as much replay value as other games. I might rent this just to get my college basketball fix but not worth $60...

i would, but i hate it when i buy sports games during the end of the season. ncaa tourny is just around the corner. anyways, thats just me. i'll probably rent it on gamefly or blockbuster.

I've already paid for it at GameStop, so yeah I'm getting it when it releases. I'm a huge Kansas Jayhawk fan (I live in Kansas) and I have an urge to take them to the top of the online rankings. I may not be good enough, or the team may not be good enough, but I'll be on almost every day trying my **** off to win with them.

I think sports games have more replay value than any other kind of game because something different is gonna happen every game. Most action/adventure games is just go to the next level until you win. Even most multiplayer fps etc. are very similar each time you play.

I meant in replay value as I don't keep sports games from previous years, I always trade them in because I will never play it again when the new game comes out. I hate to s**** out $60 for games that will just get traded in, and I want to be able to enjoy all my games, this will probably just be a rental until price drops.

I'm honestly on the fence about it. I'm not too happy that it's being released at the end of the regular season. I want to play some College Hoops though, but then MLB2K6 drops next month as well. I'm thinkin about trading in FNR3 for College Hoops as FNR3 becomes a bit repetitive.

I know what you mean ransom. I wish the game would have been release 2 months ago, but I'll still play it for a long time.
Oh, and yes Fight Night is boring as **** now. I played it for about a week and half and now it's gathering dust. I may trade it in along with my PS2 for CH2k6 and Oblivion.

Exactly. I just played it tonite and realized that it's mad repetitive. From the commentary to the training. I'm mos def going to trade it in for College Hoops. I'm itchin to play the game now.
