Hey All

I do not know if i am doing something wrong or what. but i am in my legacy mode and i have tried it 4 times just to test it out and all 4 times i target the same 5 to 10 guys. Use almost every single type of recruiting on each one that is available and they all turn to 100 % interested then on signing day they always go someone where. I can not get anyone to commit to my school and i am Duke so the school has nothing to do with it.

Any tips you can give on what i need to do to get someone to sign with my team>?

Actually, I think most the people that are using this forum are online players. The few that are doing seasons seem to be playing all the games and aren't into the recruiting part yet. Personally, I've only played one game offline, and that was right after I turned the game on for the first time.

Well the recruiting seems to be tough. I might be doing something wrong though. But i can not fill out my roster cause nobody will commit to Duke lol

The recruiting is definitely tough in the game - even for big-time schools, I think.
What school are you using, by the way?

Here's what I've been able to accomplish so far with a Michigan legacy, trying several different things in the beginning of the first season.
My best results have come from concentrating much of my efforts in the early season recruiting (before early signing) on underclassmen who are very interested. It seems you have the most potential to move their interest even higher during this time.

As for seniors, focus on no more than two or three who have very, very high interest (at least 80, I'd say) and go like nuts at them. Offer scholarships very early, as this seems to move their interest the most, along with visits and calls from the coach.
Don't make all three blue-chippers, though; they seem to break your heart more often even when they're at 100 percent interest.
And make sure you're competing with schools that don't have an obvious edge. If the kid's being recruited by Duke, get away from him. I haven't seen them lose a recruit yet.
But if you're competing for a kid who's local and is being recruited by other local schools, you have more of an edge - especially if you're "closest." Distance seems to matter quite a bit.
But also look for good kids out of state who aren't being recruited by other major programs. You can sometimes outdo the local recruiters if your program's a lot bigger and more prestigious.

You should be able to land one of them early; if you do, you're doing really well, I think. If you get two, you're rocking the house, especially if one's a blue-chipper.

So far in my current Michigan legacy, I've got one blue-chip PG from Detroit who I went really hard after. I've also got a four-star kid from CAlifornia who was only being recruited by small California schools. It took him longer to commit, but he came around.

I'll spend most of the rest of the year recruiting the underclassmen I've identified, I think, and pick out two more seniors I think can really come in and make a contribution.
We'll see how it goes!

I am Duke by the way. How do you see what other schools are recruiting them?

I must be missing something

If you highlight the recruit in the "recruits" or "map" view, and click the right ****og stick, it'll bring up all kinds of info about them.
One screen has a list of schools recruiting that player, with bars measuring the kid's interest and little scrolls indicating which schools have offered scholarships.

It's pretty deep, actually. The recruiting part of this game is nearly an entire game in and off itself.

So far in my legacy, I'm doing okay with current seniors. But with juniors, I'm about to see two blue-chippers from in-state go to Michigan State!
It's a constant struggle to keep up with the Joneses, so to speak..
