Well i really enjoy college hoops and march is my favorite month, but since i got a 360 i need a college hoops game to play. I have never played a 2ksports game ever, i always played EA sports games. Well since EA has really dropped the ball with all sports games on the 360, i am willing to give 2ksports a try. I read the gamespot review of this game and i was not really that impressed. I am asking for some opinions on the game and should i get College Hoops 2k6 for my 360?

If you don't have online problems, the game is awesome. Gameplay is great, graphics aren't as great as EA games, but the gameplay more than makes up for it.

I think you'll be very surprised by the game if you give it a try. The gameplay is unparalleled, even up against other sports games, not just basketball. NBA 2K6 is an inferior product compared to this game, and by now you know Live is not worth your time on the 360.

i decided to buy this game and its ok i guess. the gameplay is pretty fun, i can seem to use the shot stick very well and since i'm used to EA basketball i keep hitting the right stick to do a spin move and i shoot the ball. I can not make a free throw for my life can someone help explain how to do them correctly

I wouldn't get the game until they fix the online problems

I really don't care about playing online i like playing the legacy modes bymyself or if friends are over we'll play an exhibition game.........online in sports games doesn't matter much to me

For the freethrows, the timing is always the same regardless of the shooting animation. It's also the same timing as the jumpshot for every player. Once you get used to the timing the freethrows will be easy as your alphabet.

If your not into online play then this is the game for you. The game play is awesome.
To shoot FT's you pull the right ****og stick down and release when the player pulls the ball back at the top of their arch. Some players have a hitch and you need to release early and some a little later. Takes a little practice.

I got the game for online, and Im one of the lucky ones that can play games...I think the game is great, best sports game so far on the 360.(not counting fight night)
And from what I hear the offline legacy mode is incredible

I don't understand how you can play games with no problems and 90% can't. I wonder what would happen if we tried to play? Has it ever unregistered on you trying to play someone else? Has it ever paused at the tipoff for you? Are you saying that you can play anyone online 100% with no problems? or are you only playing certain people?

I've heard that the 2ksports bball games blow the EA games away graphically (haven't played NBA Live 2006 this year).

Who ever told you that is a lie 2ksports blow live gameplay out the water but not the graphics EA is killing 2ksports in the graphics department.
