Keep up the legacy, its always great to read more about smaller schools!

HotShot, I use the 2.11 sliders at 18 minutes...Except that I bumped up the CPU shooting percentages 4-5 for close, medium and 3-point. All my opponents are shooting 33-45% from the field. I'm shooting 44.8, and I can't bump my sliders down anymore.

Other than that, those sliders rock!

Kush Pre Season Invitational

UMBC Retrievers 73
vs
Hofstra Pride 65

UMBC opened the season with an invite to the Kush Pre Season Invitational. The Retrievers met the Hofstra Pride in the first round. UMBC controlled this game from the opening tip and leading by as many as 14 points. Scooter Marshall led the Retrievers with 18 points as he was dominant from mid range. Adam Greene was an unstoppable force down low as he scored 12 points and grabbed 18 boards. Bracey Furguson contributed with 12 points. Hofstra made a run in the second half to tie the game but the mighty Retrievers were not to be out done as they held off the Pride for a 73- 65 victory. The UMBC Retrievers will meet the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the second round.

UMBC Hofstra
FG % 54% 47%
REB 41 22
3 Pt 1-5 4-20
TO 12 6

I felt I turned the ball over a little to much. Most of the turnovers came off of bad passes into the paint. I thought I shot pretty well except for those STUPID fade away's in the paint. That really gets on my nerves. If anyone knows how you can stop from doing a fade away in the paint with an open basket please tell me. I only have 1 good 3 pt shooter and he isnt that good of an overall rating.(68) He didnt play against Hofstra. I'm gonna need him against Tech so I'll be bringing him off the bench.

I am really mad at this game. I was playing Georgia Tech. The game was tied 60-60 with 6:57 to go in the game and the stupid thing froze.

UMBC Stuns "Jackets"
The UMBC Retrievers shocked the nation as they pulled off the upset of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. UMBC held 10+ point leads three times in the game. Diaper Dandy Cameron Hawkins lit up the Yellow Jackets for 29 points including a 3 pointer with 1.7 seconds on the clock to clinch the win for UMBC. Adam Greene was the Player of the Game with 8 points and 12 rebounds. Greene is averaging 15 rebounds a game this season. Trent Carr scored 21 points in the Retrievers win. The UMBC Retrievers play Maryland College next.

* I was suppose to play UMass next but the game erased the final 2 rounds of the tournament. The 4 teams left in the tounament were: UMBC, UMass, Nevada, and UConn.

Sorry that happened to you. But that looks like a very decent Kush preseason tourney. Mine had all mid-majors at best. The only good team was Auburn. Is it just random what quality field you get in average prestige tourneys?

I started my first legacy at UMBC, they have a great roster, but a tough conference, if i remember correctly, that FR point guard is a 90 before hes done.
I spent 4 years there before going to CMU, winning a Nat'l Championship, and becoming a Dukie.

Good luck on achieving a similar (or greater) level of success
