what position do you play? I'm just curious of who all here actually plays the sport, and where you play best.
For me, I play catcher on my team. We've had 2 scrim games so far and won 6-5 the first game, and won 6-2 the second. We would've won 6-2 the first one, and 6-0 the second one except the coach took me out of catching for the last inning on each game to let the other catcher get a chance to play and he let the ball get by him so many times that they almost caught up to us on the first game. Made me so mad!! Anyways, where do you guys play?
I know this is a little off topic, but I don' care

I'm a 3B/OF. Good glove, good range, cannon for an arm. Line drive hitter, aggressive base runner.
Too bad I was too distracted in high school to commit to it... oh well, I'll play all the time in Heaven. ;)

A little off-topic but what the heII...
I play Short and Second, I have good range and good hands, I'm kinda on the small side though so I'm more of a contact hitter.

I'm noticing more and more each day that the majority of people don't like to catch lol.
As far as hitting, I can get on base, and I'm fast as heII .. I think if I was in a video game my speed rating would be about 98.

I was a SS on my team, but I started to pitch a little ago and now I'm a pitcher on my team. When I'm not pitching I'm the CF or if I'm well rested I'm the SS.
04/02 starts our season, and I can't wait!! We are 3-0 on a little tournament we are playing.

Pitcher / RF. When I was 16-17 I was throwing around 82-83 MPH, and then my knees and ankle got completely ****ed and haven't really played since.

I play CF and Pitch from there. I throw 115mph with a cureball that breaks 50 feet. I hit awesome, i once hit a ball to the moon.
Ok, seriously now :-) no need to have an ego. I play CF and pitch in a 28+ league, i never played baseball in HS or College but now that i play i'm a super junkie. This game is tough compared to the ****py softball i played for years, but i love it!
I throw fastball, slider, 12-6 curve, knucklecurve. I guess my ratings on each would be, 80-85 on fastball, 52 on slider, 60 on 12-6, and 77 on KC. Hitting is toughest but i have decent pop but my contact sucks on junk pitches, usually hit around .350 in this league which is decent but not great.

I pitched in college.. I was a Greg Maddux type. I didn't strike a lot of guys out, but kept my pitch count low and got a lot of ground balls. I think in 4 year, I had one 10 strike out game.
My FB topped out at 85-86, though I usually threw a 2 seamer that was around 82-83. I also thew a circle change, a curveball and my final year I threw a decent cutter.

Good bit of people who play here, then. As catcher, I usually prefer the faster throwing pitchers because it gets in there quicker, don't have to pick your *** waiting for the pitch to get to home plate. My season starts this saturday, I got a 12 o'clock game. Very excited, we've been winning in the pre-season. I'm batting .350 as well, and have 1 RBI (but thats pre-season numbers, so it doesn't really matter lol).

I play 2B and SS mostly. I can play the outfield and catcher, but I'm definitely more comfortable at the MIF positions. Usually hit leadoff, second, or eighth/ninth.
I play in an adult league (+18 y/o) in my area and have for the past five or six years now. It's pretty fun, but most of us aren't in good enough shape anymore.

I played varsity and legion baseball for 3 years each. I then played 2 years of college and 1 year of semi-pro. I was a pitcher and used to top out at 87 and generally was around 83-84, decent curve, change and very good cutter. I tore my cuff in 02.
