360 release for 4/11?

I know it says for xbox and ps2, but this article was on the 360 section.. I seen a couple threads where people have said their gamespot says a 4/11 release.. I called my local Gamestop, and they said 4/11 release...

That doesn't mention the 360. It says that the XBOX and the PS2 version have gone golden.

I saw that, and know at the bottom it says about the game coming out later, for the 360 and such... I just wonder how some Gamestops are giving us us the date as 4/11.

it has already been confirmed for a april 24th release for 360.

It got pushed back like 3 times. Late march-april 11 or 12-april 24 or 25. some places just haven't updated yet. gamespot is one, best buy's another. mark the 25th on your calender for the 360 version, not before

i pre ordered it already and its not scheduled to be released until 4/25. And on the 2k website it says it will be released for the ps2 and xbox on the 3rd.

I just don't get how this game is 1-2 weeks away and the fricken developer can't put out a release date.

I don't see how it can possibley benefit them in the least by keeping this info so secret.

I'm not suprised in the least though as this site usually is behind the other sites when it comes to releasing new info about their own product.

If you click on the 360 version to open up a full page about it, the date doesn't show as April 12th, it shows as April 26th. I would trust the latter.

Much like the glove of Chicago Cubs ace Greg Maddux, 2K Sports' Major League Baseball 2K6 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox is golden. The publisher today announced that the game's development is finished, and it should be ready for sale on April 11.

This will be the first outing for the series as the exclusive third-party licensee of Major League Baseball. However, it still faces major-league competition from Sony's MLB '06: The Show, and Midway Games has announced that a preexisting agreement with the league will allow it to release a new MLB Slugfest game later this year.

The game's soundtrack is dominated by indie rock, mostly from the ever-expanding catalog of Matador Records, with artists like Guided by Voices, Belle & Sebastian, Pavement, Stephen Malkmus, Yo La Tengo, and recent major label departure Interpol. Matador said the soundtrack will be all previously released tracks that it licensed to 2K Sports for the game. There's no tracklist yet, but the list of artists on the soundtrack also includes Bear vs. Shark, Cornelius, DJ Spooky, Early Man, Green Carnation, Mogwai, Preston School of Industry, Pretty Girls Make Graves, The Double, and Fall of Troy.

MLB 2K6 is rated E for Everyone and will retail for $39.99 on the Xbox and PS2. Xbox 360, GameCube, and PSP versions of the game are scheduled to ship in late April.

People.. for christ sake, its coming out late Aprile for 360 and early April for all other systems (except for PSP and Gamecube, they come out with the 360 one).

How I know, may you ask? 2K said it themselves, I think it is even on their site. Plus 3 EBGames I've called say 4/25 for 360 and 4/3 for Xbox and Ps2 versions. Stop being impatient and just wait a few days to find out. I don't expect any videos or anything on the 360 version until after 4/3 because I think they are too busy getting the current-gen versions out right now.

If you read on to the bottom of that article posted at the beginning of this thread, it says 360 version is to be released in LATE April...
