Top Spin 2 in the US costs $39.99 USD which is an excellent price point, $20 cheaper than the standard 360 price point.

Why then in Europe does the game cost the same amount as all the other 360 titles (£49.99). Which translates to more than double the cost of what American gamers are paying for the exact same title? This argument fails to take into account tax, but even when you remove the tax the price difference is still staggering.

How can 2K justify this? I don't know but they've just lost many european customers including myself.

Thanks for that informed response. I don't think racism is tolerated in these forums, so I suggest you take your backward views elsewhere. And don't for a second think you wouldn't complain if the situation was the other way around.

I've never complained about the prices of games before, as I accept that we have to pay more (shipping costs, tax etc..) but this isn't the same deal. The game has effectively been priced into different bands for the different regions which isn't fair especially as 2k games decided not to make the game region free.

Well, while it being "unfair" that 2K Sports regioned their Title and made it cheaper in the U.S, i think there are more Tennis fans over here in europe then the US...

Here the title sells for the regular Game Price, while in the USA, i still doubt it will sell well for its "nice" price. I think some greed is involved, but in the end, they are a company trying to make money too, so i guess we don't have much choice.

However, i gotta say i got it for 49 €uro and that's an okay price, instead of 60-70 €uro Prices most 360 Titles had during the first months of the console's release. (I got oblivion for the same price!)
