the season will wind down soon, who should be awarded MVP?
i am not the only one to agree roberto luongo is a great recipient.. based on the stats (excluding wins of course) and amount of consecutive shutouts he has.. AND his performance at the all star games...

Vezina maybe..
But his team isn't doing good enough and Luongo will not get any consideration unless somehow Florida sneaks in the Playoffs.
IMO he deserves the Hart though

in my opinion the Hart is a very difficult award to find a winner because many people have there opinion on who deserves it. According the award its giving to the player adjudged to be most valuable to his team, in which case Luongo deserves it, without him they are as bad as the penguins or worse, instead they were in the playoff hunt. But despite that i think Martin St. Louis will win, hes been superb.

last i checked there 2 and 3 in pts, tanguay leads in assists, sakics been an all around consistent player and is on a roll right now. W/o sakic's play the avs would be in a terrible situation considering selanne sucks, forsberg and kariya are always out, and the rest of the team is never in the lineup together.

 so what that doesnt mean sakic doesnt deserve major consideration, do you forget the only team w/ more man games lost to injuries is LA. Seriously i think COL has played maybe 10 games w/ everyone in the lineup thats supposed to be(ie No injuries). Your just sad bcuz the Avs are gonna win their div for a record 10th time, and it also looks like your team is going nowhere in the playoffs w/ that goaltending(i told my friends who like them that they shoulda got kolzig)and the fact there likely gonna play the stars in the 1st round.

Take 1, 2, 3 guys out of that lineup and it's still explosive.
And if anything, I'm complimenting the Av's, not mad they are most likely gonna win the division.
