What else you expect? A magical solution? This game is flawed. Simple as that.

There SHOULD be a fix that we can download once it's available... talked to MSFT, said just to wait... pretty ****py figuring I just laid out $400 for the box and another $60 on a game that doesnt work!!

And all that money on a game which can't even do 2XAA. What a joke

Taking the game back to the store isn't a fix. No store will give you money back for an opened game. They tell you that you can only exchange it for the same game. So the bugs are still there.

i'm mad that you can't control where the bat goes when you swing in 2k6. thats what made MLB 2k5 so good and thats why i brought MLB 2k6 cause i thought that they would improve on that. horrible misstake they made. they should change that, make a patch for that or somthing

They should just accept they fluked on this one. Offer a full-refund and start working on MLB 2K7 and listen TO THE COMMUNITY!

you can't even control where you swing the bat. what the H E L L is wrong with them :thumbsdow  :( if their no bat control then it ain't baseball. Thats why EA sports messed up last year with MVP because you could'nt control your own bat. now 2K up and does the same thing with 2K6, they did so good last year with 2K5, I only had one minor problem with last years because of the check swing issue and they fix that, but in the same breath totolly mess up the whole game by taking away your control :thumbsdow  if they gonna fix the frezze, then fix that with it

Take game back to the store. Thank you.

I just got back from Wal-Mart and got a full refund for this disaster of a game (sigh). At first they said they would only exchange it for the same game because it was opened, but after I talked with the store manager and explained the whole story and I showed him five pages of posts from these forums that I printed out (including the sticky by the Admin stating that Take2 was aware of the problem), he agreed to give me a full refund. I feel bittersweet about it though. On one hand I feel as if I have just had a cancerous growth removed and now I can look forward to the future. However I must admit that I am totally depressed that I won't be able to play any baseball on my 360 for as long as these incompetent losers have the exclusive 3rd party license. Only Microsoft has the power to make this right now (Microsoft I am begging you to release a killer 1st party baseball game and bury these idiots). I mean even during the rare instances where I was able to play this game (before it froze) I was very underwhelmed by it. Baseball can be done much, MUCH better than this on the 360.

So as I part with you forever 2Ksports, I will quote the great Robert DeNiro from the movie Copland..."YOU BLEW IT!!!!"

you don't control where you swing in the strike zone, you only control where the ball goes.

Example if you get pitched high in the strike and you press down on the analog and swing with the right timing you will hit a grounder instead of missing the ball which should happen, so if you have the right timing then you could close your eyes and still hit the ball so in other words the ball gets hit for you :thumbsdow thats why its horrible . check it out for your self

Your lucky. Gamestop told me the best they could do is exchange it for a reserve on a game. Since I know that Gamestop's whole motive is milking reserves and subs out of customers I just left.

dudes i freakin bought the game from Gamecrazy and they're all like you can't even exchange it for a new game you have to keep it and my dad argued and we even talked to the manager to get our money back and my dad was so p.o.'ed i mean he just thought y can't i get my money back for something that is broken and even so the return policy states this:

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT
If a new product is defective you may exchange it for the identical item. Store credit will be issued if the item is not in stock. After 7 days, refer to the manufacturer's warranty. We will replace a defective used product within 90 days with proof of purchase. If the identical item is not in stock, we will issue store credit. We will not replace or provide store credit for products damaged by misuse or abuse, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow use and care instructions.

Now you all see and feel my pain. It states right there that you can get store credit and they won't give it to me. I don't care what they say i want my $60 back. We even got it into a half hour argument with the store manager and we got kicked out of the store. So ya they better make that patch soon. And even by the way, how can you call this next gen if the game developers cannot even detect a freeze before they ship it. Don't they pay people to check for these things. Maybe 2K Sports should stop hiring blind people and actually hire people who can detect a freeze.
