I have no problems with having to absorb the financial losses of buying a new game that turns out to be bad. But when a product doesn't work (I'm not talking about a small number of isolated cases, rather a large print run) the consumers should be reimbursed. This reimbursement needs to come from the manufacture of the product, not the distributor of the product, be it the store at which the consumer bought the product from, or the distributor from which the store got it. Most, if not all "super" stores, like Wal-Mart and Target, won't accept any electronic media (video games, computer software, music CD's, etc.) to be returned opened. At Best Buy "Opened computer software, movies, music and video games can be exchanged for the identical item but cannot be returned for a refund." The same applies for Circuit City. If I'm going to be receiving an exchange for a product that is defective, and the whole print run is defective, chances are that the exchange is also defective.

That, jt, is why so many of us Americans are upset.

first of all speakin on the fact of things that are broken HOW ABOUT THE 360 ITSELF? worst peace of trash i have ever bought that they call a "system" i bought a defected one had to return it a day later then i find that its just "normal" that the ****ing system freezes after 5 hours of coutinued play....WHAT THE HEL!? are you serious your telling me this is the new technology? and any of you disagree kill yourself please b/c i was so right that i got a freee month of XBOX LIVE for the fact of me going trhough all this trouble and of course i had to inform them that they are a major company and stand behind there product...anyway with that being said im a man of principls...now for MLB2k6 2ksports outa be ashemed of themselves...for the horrible roster updates to the collusion's that just dont make sense...how about the SLOW reaction time of fielders or players overall...are they all in the special olympics or something? the game can be good but more bad then good, now that we have just this damn company for baseball games im going to kill someone....GET IT RIGHT 2K GET IT RIGHT!

Never had a problem, and I've played Oblivion up to 14 hours straight a number of times. It did start to freeze and stuff at one point, but all I did was delete all my MLB 2K6 files from the hard drive, and the problem was instantly fixed and has never returned.

Now, here's something to consider: when I purchased my 360 here in Canada, the fellow at Future Shop told me the units they sold were all built in Canada -- and that the number of complaints they received regarding faulty 360’s was basically zero.

In other words, could have to do with where the console was built and put together…?

And what good does taking it back for another game do for me when someone wants to play a MLB game.

the game has its problems but i still cant get enuff of it. Its very innovative to me and I play it non stop. 2k is the Boss under the boss because their can only be one BOSS. 2k for life baby. All other just fall by the wayside.

well...2k's basketball series is GREAT. Waaaay better than NBA Live. And I really like baseball as well. I have a few minor issues...but no way is this game a disaester. Most of the people i know really really like it. I know a couple of people who don't.

Kush does MLB 2K and NHL 2K... which is equally F'ed up and has the same number of glitches and bugs as MLB 2K6.

Virtual Concepts is responsible for NBA 2K. They're great.

What I figure is the the boss's nephew runs Kush. There's no other explaination. Because their azz should have been fired after MBL 2K5, and CERTAINLY after 2K6. But unbelievably, they're going to be producing MLB 2K7 as well, heaven help us all.
