Man you guys are 100% right. Guys don't like losing and especially in the late innings. Just played a guy and we had a good game. He's up 6-4 in the bottom of the ninth and then Jeff Francouer hits a 3 run Walk off HR and here comes the neg feed. No doubt there is no neg feeback if he wins.

I got thrown out at first 3 times in one game (1 from LF and 2 from CF) and still won anyway. It's a very cheap out to say this least and not something I will do to someone else.

This all but guarantees a neutral or negative feedback from me if it is overused by someone. Funny how the one's that do abuse this are the one's that leave me a neutral when they still lose.

The best way to counter it, is to slide into first, but that can be difficult if you have other runners to worry about also.

It's such a waste of time.

You get to the bottom of the 9th with some dillweed and he will quit every time if he is losing.

They will also exploit every glitch known.

Okay, so maybe you will find 1 or 2 good games out of 10 tries, but that's still just way too much wasted time.

That's why a baseball game has to have great AI.

AI is the only fair game you going to get in a sports simulation.

In my experience, 90% of the people online are 15 year olds staying up all night trying to figure out the latest glitches and cheats in between masturbation sessions to their Lindsay Lohan poster, and practicing speaking like Snoop Dogg in front of their mirror for at least an hour a day.

If you have a good game you might get bad FeedBack like Yesterday I Got 6K's and gave up 2 Hits With Mussina and i got Bad FeedBack. I Threw at Least 85-93% Strikes.


I usually dont play guys with a lot of drops or quits cause that usually means they are a sore loser and they suck.

To prevent getting bad feedback just play in leagues all the time especially draft leagues. Leagues are good for practice too.

But make sure when joining a draft league that everyone will play there games, Stay Active probley play at least 1 game every day or 2 maybe 3 and also make sure the people dont cheat like throw all balls and lag the game and take everyones players off bad trades ( People do bad trades hard to believe )

I would consider 80 out of 100 pitches balls cheap cause it means they dont know how to pitch so they need to throw so many balls. I also hate when people want me to throw all strikes cause thats not baseball.

HE said i was abusing exploits...he probably said this cuz i threw nothing but nasty sliders from John Smoltz down the stretch...75% were in the zone and the rest were not...i think this is a reasonable amount and I do not believe i was abusing exploits but whatever..crybabies

It plays the game to win, and can be made to play the way you tell it to play (harder hitting, easier pitching, or whatever). The AI doesn't use starters as relief pitchers either.

And from what I hear, the Dynamic Difficulty does a pretty good job of matching your skill with the sliders in and of itself.

Especially in a multi-faceted game like baseball, a well programmed computer opponent that tries to win the game without cheating (few AI's cheat) beat 99% of the human opponents out there who will do whatever it takes to get W's, including having their friends intentionally lose to them in one game while losing to their friends in a game that is important to them.

The whole online thing is just a cluster-**** of cheeseballers who could care less about the integrity of the game, and want to see their name on the leaderboard to make up for their rather small testicles and the fact that they couldn't get laid with five $100 bills.

I will throw balls until the batter stops swinging, then I will mix it up. Watch Maddux, Glavine or any of the great control pitchers. They nibble, throw balls that look like strikes out of the hand, but finish out of the zone. If noone threw balls there would never be walks.

As far as the timing, I've noticed that Swing Stick users seem to have the biggest problems with taking pitches. Swing Stick is a nice idea, but it isnt perfected yet.

As far as online timing differences, I haven't noticed any difference at all well except for the AI being more predictable. Plus you probably have the inside edge reports giving you an idea of what it is going to throw.

Stop using swing stick and the balls wont be an issue, thats my suggestion.

You can agree or disagree with me, that's fine. I'm mexican, and who's boycotting today? If black people have it so tough, why aren't they in front of Home Depot's trying to get any kind of menial labor job they can get? I can and would argue that mexican's have it tougher. Uh, "Ebonics" is an actual term and is in no way a racial slur or slight. It's defined as (something close to), "an African American vernacular of English originating in the United States." I mean, there are even college classes taught specifically on Ebonics, using that exact terms, that studies the development, origination, and uses of this form of English slang.

In response to the actual topic at hand; I can't consider anything an "exploit" that both players have equal access to. I throw mostly, but not all, strikes because it makes the game move along and because I know how to pitch. It is frustrating when someone gets up there and throws ball after ball after ball, but if you have any idea what you are doing you'll simply walk a lot. If a runner rounds a base too far, then he's fair game. That's just baseball to me if the other guy can do it as well. Now, If I'm killing someone by 6 or 7 runs I'm probably not going to risk the wild throw and am also less likely to steal because it's unecessary, but that's more solid baseball strategy than anything.

To me, an exploit is a cheat and I haven't seen anything mentioned here that would constitute cheating.
