just letting you know that it IS possible!
i had insurence on the game to gamestop and i called gamestop customer service and they told me that they knew there was a manufacturing/ programming error and it would be a while until a patch was released... therefor they gave me my money back (not store credit... CASH). If anyone else is upset with the game id recomend doing the same!
