patch requests

Ok, so the freeze patch should be here soon, or at least the new post from the board admins has me feeling a little better. I guess we can start letting 2k know what other things need to be fixed so we can better enjoy our game. Even if you think it is little but bothers you, let them know in this thread. Maybe they'll fix more as a way to make things up to us.

1. the uniform update patch. I've seen others ask for it, so I think it should be done if not next, but real soon. Hopefully this will become a reality.

2. Fielding patch. There are flaws with the fielding that needs to be addressed. I want a patch with auto fielding included since I always use it. Would be nice to see a patch that gives me that option, if not possible, just fix the flaws to the fielding so I don't make as many mistakes due to poor controls.

3. HR patch. I'd like to see homeruns bounce off the scoreboards, things like that, not just disappear. Someone else mentioned this and I agree.

4. WBC patch: one that allows me to edit WBC teams, use them in exb. and take them online. This one would be really nice. I'd love to have a WBC tournament online.

I know some of these will most likely not happen, but hey, can't hurt to ask. If you guys have some, add them here. Maybe 2k will do something to make up for the fact we've had a game for a week we couldn't play.

I would like to see a mod pin this thread since I'm sure others would like to add some bugs they'd like to see fixed with a patch. I really want to hear from those that have played several full games and not just people like myself who haven't gotten past the third inning.

Im not to sure if half of these requests would be able to be made. Also, they dont go to crazy about patches for sports games, Don't expect most of these to be done.

I don't expect too many to be done. But it can't hurt to ask. Some are ones that should be done. Again, I said before even if it minor, ask. Maybe they'll at the very least make sure they are in next year's game.

I know people would like a player profile patch so that at least the players look somewhat like themselves, but that's straight impossible. The only patched you can probably expect are very very small stuff. I doubt they will take the time to fix fielding issues and homeruns. You might get lucky to download a new uniform and I feel you would have to be really lucky.

i think that most important thing is to fix the freezing patch and the uniforms. but i expect that the freezing issue will be corrected asap.

The announcers saying my players didn't have a homerun the previous year is just plain wrong.

sh** if they patched the uniforms and player models this game would be the best...u ppl are talking about fielding problems...last year i played the **** out of the franchise and crushed it...my hitting average was a joke...on AllStar this game is waaaaaaay better than last years just hard to acknowledge due to the freezes...give us the "true to life" players and uniforms and we'll (of course i mean I) be very happy

I own Mlb 2k6 for the xbox360 and xbox. When you play in sbc park Giants in the xbox version u see the bay bridge in the background but on the 360 version u cant see the bridge. Anyone catch that??

The fielding on this game is so flawed. I bet that if we didn't have a freeze issue, this would be the number one problem. I might buy an xbox again just to play mlb 2k5...while the fielding on 2k5 wasnt really realistic, at least the diving was accurate.

I know that is annoying but I think once you play a full season the next season they will have stats to go by. I hope anyway.
