mlb 2k6 is hot, im a big fan of baseball but im really sad because of the freezing up. You want people to pay $60 for a game, then i think you should do better, my game freezes in the first inning , I cant make it pass the first inning. Im so mad at this, and there not doing anything for this. Yesssssss sony is laughing at micro, because they r gonna do what micro isnt. Bill gates you need to stop talking to oprah winfrey and fix what u started 2k sports too, DO ANYONE HAVE SOLUTIONS TO THE FREEZING ???

it is called a period in a sentance. The only solution that is 100 percent is to sit back and wait on the patch. Watch a little more Oprah Winfrey (hahahaha) in the mean time.

There are so many glitches in this game. I can't stand the fact that the fielders just stand in front of the ball while baserunners advance, the fact that your catcher will not throw the ball to 3rd base after a passed ball but instead will try to run there himself, and the fact that when I try to delete messages my game freezes up. The messages thing is the worst of the bunch. There are always messages flashing on top of my screen that do not exist. I am forever at 10 messages which makes it a pain to know when i HAVE A NEW ONE. Is there a patch for the delete messages issue?

I am one of those gamers who is dealing with this freezing problem during gameplay. I only have one question, why in the **** CAN'T I GET ACCESS TO THIS SO CALLED TITLE PATCH THAT IS SUPPOSE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM !!!! Ihave an HDD and when I load up the game I never see a prompt for the downloadable patch. I have XBOX LIVE GOLD SUBSCIPTION!!!! Any help or answers will be appreciated. 2KSPORTS, YOU HAVE BLOWN IT!!!!

This question has probably been answered already, but what exactly happens when the system "freezes"? Does the system just turn off (because that's what I've experienced every once in a while) or does the screen actually freeze?

Ok, I am from Iowa, After Calling the State Attorney Generals office about consumer Fraud by 2k sports, since I was on my second copy of the game and the piece of **** still didn't work. I was told that the Seller of the Game is Responsible, just like 2ksports is. So I called Best Buy where I bought it, and they explained to me that they had hear of the issue and they gave me store credit due to the fact I was past my 30 day return time, I was also told that if you bring the game back even opened due to the defect that they will refund there money and deal with 2k themselfs. This makes the stores like Best Buy, Gamestop, EB, and even nasty old Wal-Mart look bad. So my suggestion to you all, it worked for me, is return your game and let the boycott start, they will figure out that we are not going to put up with this after the attorney generals office puts out an alert, which is what is happening in this state, since myself and 3 other friends that all bought the game have written them and spoke to the State in Person. SO get your money or get a new game , just keep your reciept to prove you returned it so that you will be able to get into the class action suit that will be coming up, who knows we all might get a free game----but who knows if it will work!!!!!

All retailers are required to return it! I know WAl-Mart, Best Buy, and Game STop will take it back for sure!!!
