To anyone who can help,

I am new to this entire situation we have at hand. I, like many others, purchased MLB 2K6 and my copy freezes somewhere between the 1st and 3rd inning every game. I have read about a "patch", exactly how does this patch work? Will I have to burn it onto a CD and then download it onto my XBox 360( I don't have XBox Live) or will I have to have XBox Live to get it? My frustration with this issue grows daily due to 2K6's lack of interest and complete lack of urgency to solve this crisis. I have to believe they knew this would happen and sent the game out anyway just to make money. I know some of you are laughing at me because I have no idea how this "patch" thing works, but anyone willing to explain it please respond. Thanks for your help.

Well obviously you will have to get it over Xbox Live, just think of it as a Roster update. I doubt they will give out a burnable version of the patch.

XBox Live would be the only avenue then? How does that work, they will fix it for those who use XBox Live but the rest of us are screwed? So what you are telling me is if I don't have Live just take the game back and wait a few months for a better version to come out?

What do you expect? How do you expect a fix when you have no way to download it? The ****ing thing wont just fall from the heavens and land in your system.

Well, thanks for your help, I see you are a little edgey this morning. I was simply asking a question, some of us are not as educated in the video game realm as you appear to be. I am just a frustrated customer hoping to get help from someone seeing as how 2K is not helping anyone. Didn't really need you smar ***** remarks but, thanks anyways.
