Just my thoughts....some may agree or disagree....
(but i'm bored at work...lol)

**balls are OK, don't swing at 'em
**throwing to 1B from the OF is not OK due to the "auto round" that the runners do a lot of the time (try hitting the R1 button before your guy gets to 1st base to stop him from rounding the base, this work a lot of times but not always).

***bunting excessively isn't really ok due to the AI is kinda slow to react (a good way to react to the bunts is to let the computer pick your guy as opposed to hitting the button right away to get your player. this allows for the computer to select the right guy to field the bunt for you.)

***taking numerous extra bases when the outfielder won't pickup the ball is not ok. (one way to stop your guys from crashing into the wall is by letting off the turbo running when you are close to the wall)

***obviously using starters out of the pen is not ok, but guys like heilman and duscherer which 2k lists as starters are ok to use out of the pen since they are full time RP's in real life.

***Quick pitching with nobody on base is kinda cheap but not a deal breaker, obviously with men on base you have to pitch quicker to limit the leadoffs.

***taking a 6-7 step leadoff and beating the throw to the next base is weak too. (The way to stop a guy doing this is to throw over between his 4th and 5th step, this usually sends him running towards the next base and also gives you enough time to throw him out.)

***I'd be interested to hear some other thoughts.....

balls are OK, throwing to 1st from outfiled every time NOT OK, all bunting OK, using starters NOT OK but I will also use them if opponent uses them first.

all bunting ok, k more using starters is not ok no matter who does it first u sure your not in little league???? bracket.

why is using a starter out of the pen cheap??? when in the playoffs teams tend to pull out starts from the pen in big games. if some one throws to firstbase cause he sees your guy rounding first base and gets the out well i dont see that being cheap or exploiting anything because you can get your opponent out the same exact way.

i cant believe that this dude would say some stuff like that, he must still be in little league, throwing behind runners is cheap, everyone knows it so why try an make it right you cant control the runners rounding the base so it makes it an exploit what is your gamertag so ill know NEVER to play U, satrters out of the Pen in playoffs, bwaaaaaa maybe oince in a million games u might see it in like gm 7 of the world series but not likely god learn the game..
