Ive seen alot of your guys online with ya Raiders,Patriots,Rams and then you claim you're good.Its funny,I've heard bogus remarks about me lyin about my skillz.If you see me online as GoChargersGo,you see Im the Cards.I beat Cold as the Bengals.The true test of skill is to be the underdog.Im tellin you,to test your skills,try one of the lower rated teams.It will really see how good you really are.I had 23 more victims last night,beating somebody here on the board who said"Ive heard bad things about you on the message board,and I want to see if it was true".Their name was misoninja.You know who are out there.I let them be the Raiders.I choose the Saints.Yes the Saints.I massacred them 48-21.As always,completely sim.WHAT :lol: The other guy was ccjones,he was the Bucs,I was my Cards.Great Game.We went to overtime where I won it by a 45 yd scamper by Marcel Shipp.Emmitt had 137 yds.Greatness :lol: Like I said I'll play ANYBODY and I assure you we'll have a great game.Oh by the way Stopme,the only time Iwas Giants was the league called "The League",so you must be one of the chumps I beat down.The only 2 losses I had in 2 seasons was by Lexx and a forfiet I had when I was outta town.The things peoplesaywhen their jealous...... :roll:

Tell you what XRated...I agree with you to a point about stronger teams. Lord knows I've had a mouthful of Garner and Barlow's broken tackles in the last week. This has to be the singlemost addressed issue next year, hands down. I cannot stand seeing Eddie George hit a pile of 5 defenders and THEY go down like bowling balls and then he goes on for another 75 yds. Then you get a guy like Priest Holmes who goes down if you sneeze on him. Go figure...

I played a good SIM game with someone using the Niners (not one of my regular Niners users...first time playing this kid) and he kinda mixed it up on Offense, but for the most part...his meat and potatoes was running tosses and sweeps knowing obviously that they break tackles with ease on that team. Unfortunately, the Raiders, Dolphins, Titans all suffer from the same problem. It SUCKS for the hometown gamers who just want to use their hometown teams but there are definitely people out there who only use those teams because they need to take advantage of those strong defects.

I don't think the Patriots are grossly used for any strong point except maybe Defense..it is tight. Then again it all boils down to the GAMER. I've seen people who KNOW how to use the Dolphins and then the next guy comes out and makes the Dolphins look like c-rap. Perfect example is myself and Greekstile. He's like the PATRIOTS but on STEROIDS :shock: He really knows how to get the best out of his team. Me? My game needs work but my point being, there's different levels of experience and that's why I am a little reserved about BLACKBALLING a club because of a Manufacturing Bug. I'll play any team.

I'd like to take you up on your test of skill with a less than perfect team. Let me know if you can play today and I'll take San Diego. Never been them before.

BTW...I'm planning on a RETIREMENT MATCH soon and I've started a NEW NAME in case I lose :wink:

I use the Rams, and proud of it. I'm born and raised in St. Louis.

That being said, at anyone's request so long as it's fair, I'll sub out Marshall Faulk for my second or third string RB. The Rams are rated with mostly 2's, and I simply like their playbook and playstyle. I don't NEED to be able to run people down with Faulk.

However, if someone's going to come at me with say, the Bus, or Garner, or Ricky, or well...you get the idea, I think it's a bit unfair to ask me to sub out Faulk just because you don't want to have to play run defense, but you intend to run me down all day long.

That make sense? I'm always up for a fair, legit game. I'm like 0-forever against anyone using the Raiders. I try to keep it close, but to be blunt any no-skill loser can win using them. Miracle pass-and-catch, kickoffs that go out of the end zone without really trying. We're not even going to talk about the WR's that can seem to get open any time so long as the QB scrambles long enough.

Anyway, I hope I'm not babbling too much.

Its good to see that you like to give yourself a challange w/ the lessser rated teams and all that ,but if used properly those weaker teams as you call them definitly have strong points. guy's used to pick the bears last year and give ya a hard time .It all depends on the baller tho ,cuz often I see guys use the saints,denver,sehwawks and then use someones elses playbook if you ask me and you want a challange go w/ those teams and there playbooks that's a challange. I dont even use the Chargers playbook I played NC18 or something like that he used the panthers w/ another playbook,me I used the pats w/ another playbook and came back to beat him(Ididnt use turbo or anything)he was a good baller I guess but my point is can you do that and use those Garbage playbooks?By the way dont be givin folks no hard time w/ my bolts IM FROM SAN DIEGO.Someone kept callin me GOCHARGERGO and that I was a garbage baller and all that so if your sim stay sim even w/ my bolts.OMFG OUT.

Whether or not a player switches playbooks shud not be an issue. If you want your opponent to match up with you using weaker teams, if he
(or she, PINAY :P ) chooses to use a playbook he/she is more familiar with so he/SHE can play his/HER best with that weaker team, that shud not be a problem. He/SHE still has to execute with players he/SHE may not be familiar with. Its still SIM style if you use choose a diff PB as long as you use more than 5 plays out of that PB.

I had a great game recently using Dem Cowboys for the first time. Wudn't mind another chance to coach them again, vs a similar team...I use NO PB....

i think henchman and xrated both have valid points .... i've played gamers that have used the big 4 (Titans, Pats, rams , dolphins) sometimes they smoke my skins and sometimes i have beat them ... but it all depends on who's controlling them ... but on the other hand i can see the point of xrated... if you skillz are the best than use a lower ranked team and see if you can compensate on the major weaknesses of you team . i give credit to antbull who is trying the skins and trying learn how to use them .... all in all i like taking the challenge of facing the higher ranked teams (the big 4) if I win i love it !!!! Yes Hail to the REDSKINS...... so I look to play these teams ...and I think my skills are getting better and better everytime I play those teams... I'am joh1 online .... even if I don't win I want to make the player sweat the whole game.... knowing that they should be blowing me out but their not ... it give me gratification to keep them down....

Thanks guys,Im glad you agree.And yes it does make you a better baller if you use a weaker team.I played henchman earlier and to say the least,I got his respect.Knowing your personel on your team is important;knowing your teams strengths and weaknesses.Yall guys throw a team at me and I'll tell ya every weakness on them.But I really agree some teams AND playbooks are just too overrated.I hope next years game has more parody;more evenly distributed playbooks,accurate ratings,and more importantly,no team rated 97 in defense.Every team I hope is between 80-90 overall rated.League administrator,please let them know this!I think the highest rated D should be 92,Pats,and 91,Ravens on next years games.Hope to see yall guys online.And girls.Peace

I play with exclusively and their are times when they can't tackle.... but i do know that zones are better schemes to use with the skins ..because they stop the run alot better that way .... yes you are a little more open to the pass but in obvious downs your going to man up anyway ...i know your skills are alot more advanced than mine ... so you may know some other technigues but up to this point it has worked very good for me

I'm not taking sides with anyone but I did play XRated today and he basically ripped out my spleen and showed it to me from 12 different angles. It was a lesson for me indeed but then again, lots of you guys have given me lessons. pinaygirl, you know how I feel about you and your game... nothing anybody says can change that.

XRated played me as SIM as it gets and like I said, it wasn't too cute for me. Now...granted we picked weaker teams than I'm used to but his team was weaker. As far as having a nack for playing effective football, well...quite frankly, he was one of the Best Ballers I've ever faced. What he did in the past, I can't fix or change but as far as for right now, he played me straight.

Lots of you guys have better skills than me and I'm OK with that...it's just a game. I just wanted to state that I played XRated and he was really skilled. pinaygirl, you are on the top of my list too so don't feel slighted in any way. I think all you guys deserve your Props...I'll just keep trying to make the games interesting while you b-tch slap me up and down the field. Peace

Sup, XRated, I recall running against you yesterday but was disconnected due to either two things my internet connection or the d-matchups. Was dissapointing cuz if I recall it was an exciting game, I'm sure it was a problem on my end but regardless they seem to have the problem fixed as of today. The only thing I couldn't figure out was how to get double coverage on Marvin Harrison when you moved him to your second best wideout posistion, so anyone with this problem solver please reply. Heres a tip that may help if it works. For any 3-4 man 1 defense if you reverse it, it should double cover either the strong or weak side WR. Never tried it but thats what i heard.

Well seems to me you talk the talk, but don't walk the walk. Just for the record we had our rematch today and I didn't mention in my last post I was beating him on both sides of the ball. He obviously has a good memory because instead of taking the team he had in our first matchup (Colts) I had (Ravens) he takes the Bucs :roll: so I changed my team to Steelers to match up and he changes to the RAMS (lol) isn't this one of the teams you were busting chops for other people using :roll: Anyway he only used Marshall on Tosses and only passed to Holt the only other pass he made in three quarters was to Bruce. (Whatever) But when you use this tactic and are up three touchdowns did you really feel it to be necessary to roll out Warner all the way to the sideline to complete on third and long?
