scoring runs

for the most part i dont have trouble scoring runs but i seem to only be able to score them with homeruns...... i have a hard time just getting regular basehits.....do i just need to be more patient or something with men on base to knock some runs in with regular hits???

im having the same problem in my franchise im dead last in runs scored but first in HR's???? i also have a hard time getting base hits on any low pitches and hit into alot of double plays because of it? anyone else having these problems??

I'm not... I seem to have the exact opposite problem as the two of you.

I get many base hits, doubles, and triples in my games... but I don't seem to be getting as many HRs when compared to other hits.

I dunno... sounds weird. :confused:

what are you doing different is what im wondering im playing on allstar with classic swing, how are u getting alot of base hits? did you adjust sliders or anything???

My sliders have been adjusted to blitzburgh & bigfnjoe's recommendations, along with a few minor tweaks that I adjusted my sliders to.

I also use the swing stick... much better than the "classic" setup, IMO. :thumbsup:

thats weird cause all low pitches i get a clean hit on never clear the infield hardly prob 1 out of 10 are base hits, the other 9 are always one or two bouncers in the in field, i guess my mechanics are messed up.

I found in the first 11 games of my Indians GM Mode that Hafner has hit 4 HR's and Blake hits 4 HR's. At pitcher parks I find that any decent swing is either pushed back into the yard or doesn't have enough power to get out of the park. I aslo average between 10-20 hits a game. I'm playing with the Blitzburg Pro Sliders, btw.

LMAO... I wish Casey Blake hit HRs with that kind of frequency in real life... my MLB fantasy team would be unstoppable.

No kidding!! My Indians wouldn't do so bad if Blake would post those kind of numbers.
