Glitch in Career Attributes Upgrade

Here's a strange one...

I create a career player, and the 1st thing I try to do is one of the training exercises. Once I complete the training, I allocate the attribute points. The screen says "Please wait. Career Update in Progess." Then the Xbox 360 returns me to the allocate points screen, but it's frozen--I can't do anything other than restart the 360. I've made 3 different careers, and it happens every time.

Anyone run in to this ever? Thanks for reading.

Sounds like your disc is screwed up or your lens is somehow already dirty. I'd return the game and get a different copy. :)

Ouch, this a brand new disc that is the first game I put into a brand new Xbox 360. The rest of the game modes seem to function fine. Oblivion runs fine as well. Hopefully it's simple as you say, though that's a rare thing with M$. Thanks for the rapid response!

I'm sure it's just the disc, if all your other games work well and it's a brand new XBOX 360. My original console was screwed up, so I got a new one within 3 days. So even if it is your console, which I doubt, they've been very good with fixing the problem.
