Co-Op on Live?

Any chance we can see some co-op Live support? I'd love to be able to play 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 online vs the CPU or other players . I'm not talking about from the same XBox, more like I'm in Dallas, my buddy is in Austin and we play co-op against the CPU or other 2 man teams.

Further, being able to bring in a co-op player from live for a franchise game would be super sweet, too.

I haven't seen this option since NHL Rivals, which I think is ridiculous. They also need to support more than 2 consoles! What's the answer on this one??

Most likely: no. If they had added these features they would have touted them, especially in response to the relative media blitzkreig EA has done so far.

Do you work for 2k sports!??? I'm not being smart, but I need to absolutely confirm that there is no online co-op (2 players connecting on the live to play on the same team) in NHL 2K7. Are you absolutely sure this is not inthe game?!?! I will cancel my preorder of the game then, because I was buying the game with this feature in mind. If this feature is not there, I don't want the game!

So - are we SURE there is no online co-op!?

I distinctly remember playing either 2k5 or 2k6 online on the PS2. One more than one occasion I played against multiple players on the same team. Obviously they were on the same console.

If you are talking about multiple consoles on the same team, I don't know. But I remember having multiple online opponents on the same console. I'm not sure if it is in 2k7 though.
