 I've tired too copies of Top Spin 2 (purchased from a High Street store) on my UK XBOX 360 and both come up with a message saying the game does not support PAL-50 and to change my XBOX settings to PAL-60.

When I check the system display settings, it very clearly shows that it is set to PAL-60. There is no option on the menu to change the PAL setting. I also have Elder Scrolls Oblivion which runs on PAL-60 and I have no problems at all with that game.

I've checked my TV settings (Pioneer Plasma HD TV) and there's no options on that to change the PAL setting either. Not that I should need to, as the XBOX clearly shows is already set to PAL-60 (have also tried all the available screen definition settings (720p, 1036i an 436i - has no affect).

Any suggestions?!

I have this issue also - im running a Benq 20" widescreen monitor.

I can run oblivion perfectly (which states it needs pal-60)
my console says i am using pal-60
but when i try to run TS2 i get the error of *can't play game with pal-50*

Incidentally, I also had this msg when i tried to play hitman blood-money demo.

I sure hope someone sorts this out or can advise as to what the feck is happening:thumbsdow

EDIT::: i have found that the solution is to change the xbox settings (on system blade) to pal-60.
I cannot, however, do this as i have no television :-(
solution is on this thread:-> http://forums.xbox.com/3943612/ShowPost.aspx

u need to set your AV cable to standard TV first, then set your xbox360 to PAL-60 in system menus, then flip the AV cable swtich back to HDTV.
