Make sure you check this out, it really blew me away, It is a TOTALLY different type of game as last year (new engine)

Am I the only one who notices the fact that the players, while stunningly beautiful and with nice animation, seem to be floating all over the ice with no friction or skating physics to speak of? In IGN's clip you actually see a place who isnt moving float sidways about 10 feet in a position just impossible in real life.
Lots of potential there, but a bad skating engine can really cramp what they are trying to do.

the games aren't gonna be perfect, but at least the puck is more free and realistic now, the skating they can still work on, but never gonna have exact motions of skating in hockey, or running etc in basketball...

Yes, I too noticed the players gliding/sliding/warping over the ice on the IGN clips. Looked a bit weird. A definate friction issue there...
However, the new puck physics and players motions looked absolutely stunning on the clip above :) The flexibility of the stick was just unreal, made me smile more than once.
Perhaps time to move from the couch in to my pc room this year, lacking the 360 box :/. The pc should have more than enough hardware to unleash the power of nhl07 I hope. Just have to go buy a proper controller then I'm good to go :)
