Just Bought XBOX 360 and TopSpin 2

I've only been playing about a week or so, but I can't execute the advanced shots but maybe once a match. What's the secret? I know I have to let it get to the top of the bar but I never have enough time and I slam it into the net. I have gotten the power serve down pretty good. The only bad thing about that is that when I do get it in, the opponent slams a cross court winner on the return. I guess I need to change the direction.

Anyway, just wanted to get some advice on the power shots during rallies.

My advice is to not use the shots. They are too risky unless you have practiced for quite sometime. They are something thats good to have, but they really are not needed to win or beat players online. Basically, just use the basics and learn from your mistakes and you will eventually suceed and be fine. :)

Only pros like me have mastered the advanced shots. :)
