The francise mode in 2k is one of the reasons why I love 2k hockey games. But this year it seems like EA is going to pass 2k on that department. 2 way contracts is a great idea, both games should have a salary cap, but it seems like EA's game will have more of the stuff from the CBA. I hope 2k includes everything from the CBA in their game. I just hope 2k has more stuff up their sleeve then they are showing. Also, EA's game will have players attributes that increase or decline throughout the season, about time. Unfortunately it seems like 2k/EA only care about the 360, the current gen systems will probably just get a polished version of last years, which really sucks considering most people dont have or wont be getting a next gen system for a while.

EA NHL has had player's attributes increase and decline throughout the season already in NHL 06 in the Dynasty mode. That's why when I play, I look at the players' stats, potential especially, to determine who is the guy I want to hire or trade for. For instance, I have one player that sucked when I hired him but his potential is 98 so you see him getting faster, more accurate and more aggressive throughout the season.

I didn't know that. 2k should really have this in their games, it is great.

I saw the NHL 2K7 trailer and it doesn't look like they changed anything at all except graphics.
