It still looks glued to the stick at times. But, I really liked skating animations...they look realistic as far as I can tell...

2K7 doesnt deliver compared to 07. This really sucks because I have been a 2k fan since 2k3. I will still wait for the reviews as always.

Skating animations look far more fluid than what I've seen from NHL07 so far. Nice touch to finish off the clip with a sweet deflection goal; no need to bragg as EA does about their new crazy features....it's just there. As always :)

That's exactly what I thought. The animations look nice, but of course they do when you've got the video filmed in replay mode and zoomed all the way in. You'd never see that in actual gameplay.
Crazy delicious? Not unless this is your first 2K hockey game.

Um, I know its all about game play and all, but when exactly does 2K plan on moving into the Nex-Gen era. This looks exactly the same as 2K6, same sub-par animations and graphics. Looks like im finally jumping ship to EA.
This is video, in my opinion is negative advertising. The more I see of this game, the less I want it.

Are we watching the same clips? The EA game looks completely different, gorgeous, fresh, new everything. 2K added a new drop pass technique. From what I see in the video it look the same as 2K6. The EA game has been in developement for 2 Years! Looks like 2K put in two months.

I think it looks good. Looks similar to last year, graphics dont look that great, and the golies still let in weak ones. The skating looks nice, but I dont think that that would make people want to buy the game.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't the EA game being shown on the 360/PS3, whilst this is a video of 2K7 on an Xbox?

What I don't understand is how 2k can design the most amazing and fun game in NBA 2K6 and make NHL 2K6 such ugly (albeit fun) trash. Why does 2k have little or no interest in improving the hockey series? Are we hockey fans too loyal?

It is for 360 and nor Xbox, looks like they have not improved the goalies, they still move unrealisticly.

i really dont get it........... most people are now going to the next gen consoles, why show an AD-CAMPAIGN that was made for the past gen. consoles? either:
1. you're already saying that 2k7 is hands down the inferior NHL game for the 3rd gen console games?
2. there's not much improvement, graphically and gameplayability?
what we want to see and hear from 2K is this:
1. no more "shrug" goals
2. improved graphics (particularly for the next gen consoles)
3. more indepth Franchise mode (such as improvement/decline of player abilities as time passes or injuries afflicted conditions etc.)
4. better online hosting
5. online leagues is BASED ON POINTS ACQUIRED (from W and OTL) and not only by W.
6. more liberty into designing online leagues (such as schedules, division or conference)
to be honest, the only thing that let me look forward in 2K7 are the rivalry and the drop pass. Cinemotion????? y not better gameplay and GOALIE AI???
