All you have to do is first take your time and find your men on the court. What i usually do is stand on top of the arc facing in fron of the hoop. I call a pick and roll. My PF comes from the high post and screens (mostly from the left) You go to the left and your defender will be screened by your forward. The forwards defender usually will stay with the forward and not even pay attention to you and will give you a wide open lane. When your going for a lay-up, a center will be down there. He alwasy go to you to either block the shot, challenge the shot, or take a charge. Preferrably (sp?), they'll go for the block and foul you. If your smart you will go up for a lay-up, while your in the air press the X button, and pass to your center in mid-air. That'll leave a wid-open lay-up/dunk and an easy score. This will take about 10-15 seconds to work. If you play on superstar, its harder to get an easy dunk with the center because they react quicker. Also, when your in mid-air about to pass it, be careful because the defender will jump and he'll most likely block when hes in the air from your pass. So try not to pass it in mid-air often. Try a little skip pass to your man. If you still have questions post on this thread...or email me at phila_iverson_03@hotmail.com.

Thats the problem with the pick and roll you see. Your PF never does the most important thing. ROLL! He stands there after the screen and watches you drive in, get stopped by his defender, get a charge foul, or pass it. I have no idea why he doesnt roll. I think if they made him roll it would screw the whole play up but it doesntwork like that.
If the PF rolls after the screen, usually his defender will come off and stop ball. If the PF rolls after that, He will be wide open in the lane. The PG's defender would be behind the PF and wouldnt be able to stop him.
Hope that can help!

Me too. And he'll be matched up with the much smaller PG. If he would simply roll to the basket he's got an easy layup against the PG. If a player comes and helps out then the help player's man is open. So much can happen if the player simply rolled after the pick.
