If nothing else, I hope some of the things that crushed the enjoyment of 2k6 are patched and taken care of.

1. Having NO NAMES for the cpu players when they have posession of the puck. The one and few things I liked that EA did last year was for a few seconds, when gaining posession of the puck, the name of the player appears, then fades briefly afterward. (also a slider bar for the length of time would be fine) This is hard to believe that this was missed during any kind of "play testing" That should be a "no brainer" and an easy fix.
2. Do something with the penalties. They are too one sided for the "human" player and are impossible to make equal or fair using the slider bars. A plus would be a wide, realistic range of penaties as well. Double minors, majors, game mis-conducts, along w/ necessary suspensions w/out getting too carried away. (ie. slider bar)
3. PLEASE, fix the "tractor beam, muddy, quick sand, auto-pilot, manual goal tending physics". I love to play manual goaltending in the 2k series games, but 2k6 was horrific. Let the controls be 100% manual, beside the nice "R1 on the ps2" button, to auto pilot the goalie to the best position. There should be a "skate full tilt" button, and a "hard clear" button as well to add to the goalie commands.
Those were my "big 3" with more to follow...
Thank you for your time to whomever bothered to read my thoughts and concerns, take care.

I like 1 and 2, having not played these games since I got my xbox 360 and decided to wait for the 2007 games, I hope I don't have to deal with stuff like that
