It is the hardware of the console that can make a game good or not, and not the disc space, that stuff only give things like more HD cinematics, but hey a disc can't improve graphics!!

PS3 graphics is only a little bit better than 360. And games don't use 100gb or even 50gb of space.

Blueray wont improve games. There has not been one 360 game thats required two disc. Oblivion was a 300 hour game, with larger areas then any game ever made, full voice acting and it was on one disc. The cost of voice acting and load times is more of a burden then the lack of disc space.

Most games use about 5 GBs. Blueray is simply Sonys way of selling CDs because they own 25% of the the tech. They are using the PS 3 as a trojan horse to sell CDs.

Its because its true. Do you honestly think Sony is using Blueray so devs can have more disc space or because they own the format?

1 Blueray disc cost more then 3 DVDs but we have not seen one Xbox 360 game use more then one disc unless its a collectors edition with behind the scenes movies. Sony hopes enough people buy the PS 3 to make blueray the standard.

There are already games with PS3-exclusive content like extra videos, music, and just little extras like that. The PS3 and X360 will be nearly the same in gameplay, with the PS3 handling certain things better and as much as I hate the 360, the 360 will handle some things better. They will be virtually identical except for a few little possible extras on the PS3 (with the PS3 maybe having marginally better graphics? I don't know....). Oh and yeah 2k said in time for the holiday season ( I expect late - like December-ish) that 2k7 will be released for the PS3

It will be a launch title, I'm sure that 2K is not going to let NBA Live have all the basketball glory on the PS3. Plus I read somewhere that 2K sports is really pushing to have NHL 2K7 and NBA 2K7 as PS3 launch titles, and NHL 2K7 is just about done with. I know that ebgames has March of 2008, which is stupid, they've had that up there since April of this year for NBA 2K7 on PS3. I plan on getting it on the PS3, but lets not turn this into a system war, the game will be fantastic on both nextgen systems, and I think it will out do NBA live 07 on both nextgen systems. We need NBA 2K7 across all the platforms, to show its dominance. But I agree that hey 2KSPORTS THERE NEEDS TO BE A PS3 BOARD, IT IS COMING OUT SOON!

playstation 3 might not be "funner than the 360" But in terms of power it is supreme.

take for example the ps2 and xbox, xbox is more powerful than the playstation, right? but playstation 2 is funner, and this is the reason why the ps2 outsold the xbox 90 million to 35 million!

I just like how people like this guy keeps saying that the ps3 is going to be the future because it is marginally better than the 360. Does anyone remember which console was the most powerful this past console cycle? Yeah, the X-Box didn't fare so well, did it? They say that one reason teh X-box wasn't so successful was because the X-Box was the largest console, but this time around, the PS3 seems to be the largest. Largest, "most powerful," most expensive and basing its tech on an unproven media format? That spells success....

... and no, I'm not a hater or a fanboy for any specific console. I'm a gamer, I plan to have all 3 (the Wii-S3-60 route, as I like to call it), just like I had all three this last console generation. I hope all 3 succeed, but logic is making Microsoft seem like they are doing most of the right moves and Sony tends to be... not helping their cause that much...

that would be cool, perhaps more animations than the 360 has. Because the ps3's hardrive is alot faster and larger(in gigabytes) it would be possible to add alot more stuff. And if there is no exclusive content, im sure 2k will advance the graphics better than the 360 version. :D

Honestly, for a game such as NBA 2K7. I can't see the PS3 really being that much superior to the 360. Maybe on new and larger titles just coming out there will be a larger difference. But for the most part, no point in waiting until 2k7 is released for the PS3, that's a long wait.

Like I have said before, I just think games such as 2k7 will be concentrated on less then compared to games that are specifically released for the PS3. It would only make sense and that is what usually happens with all new gaming systems.

But it is nothing special. Playing 2K6 on the 360 really wasn't that big of a deal to me from the reg. xbox. Sure I obviously would rather prefer to play on the 360 like anyone else. But I wouldn't be expecting that much more when 2k7 comes out for the PS3. Especially from the amount of more time you would have to wait for the PS3 release, it wouldn't really be a big deal.

i'm not an xbox hater or anything (i bought 1 xbox game, top spin and never ownd an xbox, just to play with friends) but i can't wait for the ps3 version.
to me the dualshock controller just feels better with any sports game out there, i know 360 went to 2 triggers as well, but i still like dualshock cause of analog stick position.

i guess ill get the ps2 version this till ps3 one comes out, cause i cant risk buying a 360 when it doesnt have metal gear solid.

but ya no question i want to play 360 version cause it looks great. but rather save my money for the ps3.
