As the unofficial Leader of the "VC please improve the nets" group, I really have to say that VC has tweaked the nets a bit- And really got them to perfection.
Watch that allstar vid with the Kobe J, and chill my boy.
Peace.

I believe the net animation has been "fixed" even though it was already the best out there.

I'll admit that I did like the net animation in the Xbox version better than the 360 version of 2k6. I'm not sure if that's what is being debated, but if it is then the 360 version net physics were hardly the best out there.

I think you're chances of getting the net is way out of time... It's about to release like next year, I'm sure its alot harder then 'we' take it for granted. They probaly have to do all kinds of differen't things because that was XBOX 1, and they didn't do it in 2k6 360, so I think the chances are very slim unless they've been playing an old build.
Quite frankly I agree, I loved the old net but this one seems pretty good - realistic. so, IDK sorry man.

No, YOU aren't making any sense. Haha, seriously though, what don't you understand? You liked 2k6 net animations? When I picked up the 360 version of 2k6, I immediately missed the current gen net physics. The net just hardly moves on 360! Where's the snap?

Personally, I liked the xbox nets better too, but the nets are last on my list of things to worry about, unlike in other 2k bball games, back when the net barely moved. But on the 360 version, the nets still look good.

IMO they are way better than last years nets.. This year when you shoot the ball keeps the same trajectory, whereas last years it would hit the back of the net and fall straight down.. getting better. And btw current gen was too dramatic NEway. I think the new nets are perfect.
The dunks on that other hand. The net should swish higher up becuase dunks use more force when going thru the net. Thats just my opinion. But even then who cares there are so many new things that are insane about 2k7, net movement is last priority.

IMO its still kind-a stiff. But xbox and ps2 nets were PERFECT! But yea i agree wit u nets are the last thing on my "improvement list" for 2k7 :D

Its hardly fixed, its like the net animation is cut in half. The bottom half of the net moves, while the upper portion stays stiff and rigid. 2k Please fix, it does make the game presentation that much better.

Man WTF are you guy debating man, man you didn't see that swish that's real life net physics.
Let's debate 24/7 that what they need to take off, i can't see myself playing that. Unless it has it's own dunks and different camera angles and more things to do.

I think the net looks great on jumpshots, doesnt move nearly enough on dunks. A good clean dunks will make the net pop over the cylindar. So its not perfect but its pretty good, there shouldnt be any more debating over it. The xbox/ps2 version was NOT perfect, very exaggerated
