I always thought it would be koo to see some real refs in 2k games.. Joe Crawford, Bernie Fryer, **** Bavetta, Steve Javie, to name a few. Im assuming there protected by some legal crap that makes them non existant. Kinda why we never see a ref up on a poduim defending a bad call in a real game..

But still be nice to see some real NBA refs, instead of "Johnny Gorilla Arms" like we see in the games today. What do ya'll think? Maybe a small pool of more popular refs. Do some kinda intro like they do before real games, showing who will be officaiting, and make them have different tendecies for calling things on the floor. Cause you know Javie is gunna call one technical a game lol. Just an Idea.

no they jus need to make the refs...graphically teh same as the players....everyoen except the crowd shoudl have the same gfx...then the game would really be crazy...

Of course that would add so much more realism to the game if their had refs and the refs had different tendancies.

Just like on this game called Fire Pro Wrestling. You can edit ther efs tendancies. How fast their count, their movement speed, their awareness; ETC.

This would be good for a basketball game. How tolerant a ref is from the player going off on them, how often the refs make foul calls. Yea that would be beautiful

ya I wasnt really saying to throw it in this year but maybe 08 or something I would love to see Javie, hair all slicked back, arms crossed, giving a player the glair. Its funny cause the refs are half of basketball, they control the game not the players, so it always seemed wierd to me that half of the NBA exp. was missing. Would also be nice to see end of quater reviews for last second shots.

There is already too much hate in the world. Adding refs to the game would just make people hate certain refs..

Forcing 2k to move its rating from E to E10+ or T....But 10 year olds buy m rated games so it doesnt matter. That would be nice tho.

ya lol Magic.. dude it was just an Idea.. so we dont have to keep seeing the current gen models of refs.. it makes me laugh when i see them on a Next gen game.

It wasnt like "I HATE 2k CAUSE THE REFS LOOK HORRIBLE!" rofl. Just getting getting some Ideas to make the game feel more and more each year like a "Sim". Thats all cause in my opinion, thats the only thing that bugs me, they run around with the Awesome player models, and u look at there model, and all I can do is laugh. k? k

Winnings Eleven has its own refs and they have their own tendencies.
He if its in the game its in the game.

Also as long as the brawls are just pushing and shouting they wont have to change the rating. I would be cool to hear the announcer say "Bernie Fryer did a good job of breaking that up."

ya thats where I was going with it, not any MAJOR changes but added things like end of quater reviews, seeing like players trying to plead there case with a real ref than the ones implemented. Brawls is kinda pushin it. But what you said about like just some chest bumping and stuff after a hard foul. With the refs getting in the middle. be just another added realism to the game. Either way 2k7 is gunna own all!

I whould love to see techs in a basketball game (they had that in inside drive but you had to hit the ref???) whould make the game way more realistic and change the game rating because you always hear cussing and players will fight from time to time. players getting ejected from a game all that good stuff.
