I am not going to reserve a copy. I have to rent it to see for myself. I don't even know how good it will be on current gen. I need gameplay vids for current gen.

They released this statment:

(MaddMatt here. I met with 2K Sports a few days ago. The good news is that they’re going to try to have both NHL 2K7 and NBA 2K7 available for PS3 launch. It’s not an official declaration that they will have the games, just an announcement of an intention.)

Its coming to the PS3 dude, and I can't wait. 2K said that they are shooting for the Nov.17 launch date, but it may fall to December. So that's the verison I'm waiting to reserve. Also:

No need. How often do hear about games selling out on the first day of release? Also, I used to work as a manager at Gamestop, and I know that they send so many copies that it's rare you'll run of stock for a particular game. The only games that sell out are the games that weren't expected to sell, but did, or the demand was WAY higher than originally antiscipated (sp?). State of Emergency is one game that comes off the top of my head. NBA 2K7 will sell, but not enough where you'll be driving around the city looking for a copy. Especially if you have a Gamestop, EB Games, or Best Buy in your city.

This is exactly why I don't pre-order games. I just walk in and there are about a million copies of the game to buy. The only time I pre-order is when their is a special deal to go along with it.

Exactly. Free shirt. Demo disk. Discount off another game. Those really are the only times that I reserve the game.
