I only experimented with it in 2K5; didn't touch it once in 2K6.

You know. I know why they just don't kick this crap to the curve.

I though they was putting a NBA Challange, where they play all the NBA Champions of the Past. 95 BULLS, 90 LAKERS, like NFL Fever that's what i thought.

Also what they need to do is put the ALL the dream teams on there and take off 2K Team, it just a waste of slot that all nobody plays with them.

i dont see whats wrong wit it personally...I enjoyed the EBC Tournament is was actually fun, I just wish they actually play Streetball instead of the same moves from the regular game.

I'd rather have the 24/7 mode instead of all-star weekend. ASW doesn't vary in the least. Once you mastered it, there isn't a reason to pick it up again. 24/7 let's you try all sorts of game modifyers (large ball, small ball, jump shots only, no turnovers...), let's you experiment with all positions (though, in the end, all stats tend to max out), and allows for a reason to have the street mode in the game...

24/7 is the same wack ish every yr. :rotfl: It was nice when it was first added to 2k, but now it's like give it up already. You are playing Flavor Flav streetballs greatest. I feel the same way about the crib-bobbleheads come on my little bro won't even collect those.

why not put it in dynasty or season mode at least all star games are part of that. i haven't played 2k6 just live 06 exactly like live 05 it was bootleg. I was tempted to get live but if this game gets all star i'll definitly get it over live it stills look bootleg

They are having a complete nw Streetball system where you can do crazy dunks. It is completely revamped and plymore like streetball but more realistic unlike nba street. That was crap! seriously. I a actually excited about the 24/7 mode. It would be better if it was more like nba 06. Mode.

While I never enjoyed 24/7 (mainly because of the easy AI), it's already in the game. Why totaly scrap the whole thing? If they actually worked on the AI, it wouldn't be a bad mode. However, I don't think it takes as much space as we think, and since it's already been designed, there's no need for them to just throw it out.

I like the 24/7 mode. I usually play that first before I get real far in my association use to get me used to the new controls. Last years 24/7 was cool because the EBC tournament was really well done. It was like a whole nother mode and the atmosphere was great. I'm guessing 24/7 next is going to feel like that the whole time.

^^me too. i think its a wack mode. just lacks a little depth. maybe its fixed this yr.
the game will be bananas regardless. its the only game that offers real streetball options.
nobody only plays one on one games.

I really want to try the new 24/7 but what if its a failure again? It was nice when it came out but i never touched it in 2k5 and 2k6, and probably 2k7. When will they show some screens? cant wait to see them!

I like the idea of having an allstar weekend.I would want that more than anything in the game.But instead of taking out 24/7 why don't they put in allstar weekend but keep 24/7.The only thing is that they need to improve it.I was upset last year when they first said that after u get ur reputation they follow u through ur NBA life as u try out for teams and make ur name in the NBA but then they took it away.I say thats what they should do this year.

it would be cool if you created a dude in dynasty mode, if during the offseason or at some point, some streetballers would challenge you to bring your game to the streets.

Kind of like when kobe, artest (i think), and other superstars go to rucker park and etc..

I wouldn't say CHALLENGEbut they should be intied by a certain team up the Rucker to come play. And your players can decline. And this would decrease/increase their public image. Which all players should have.

They said that the street mode was redone, so you will have actual street moves instead of nba moves in the street. Its a story mode. So it should be alot more to ppl likin. Personally, I always like the 24/7 mode. in 2k4, it was ok, but got real borin, but in 2k5 it was a little better, but I liked it in 2k6. So 24/7 Next should be tight.

They said freethrows is first person and there will be streetball moves in the mode. It would be better if we got streetball players instead of rappers.

24/7 is c-r-a-p garbage, the crib is c-r-a-p garbage and all those wack collectables are wack garbage. the stupid point system is c-r-a-p garbage. I don't see what's so hot about the crib. I don't see the fun in collecting some trophies after reaching certain goals. scrap this c-rap and put in REAL milestones! Let us try to break MJ's 63-point playoff record...and things like that. The all-time assists record, most assists in one game record, most rebounds, etc., etc.

I'm not playing tetris where I have to compete for how many points I get for...whatever...I want to break real life records. The time spent on 24/7, the crib and the bobbleheads, and that pointless point system could've been used for something so much more useful and fun.

That I agree with. I ALWAYS wanted the 2k bball games to have REAL records. This is somethin that I been wantin to see forever. I don't see why they didn't have the real records in, in the first place. They had them in baseball and football, when it was around. But they always manage to short change the pro basketball.

Did they ever have a online for 24/7. If they didn't, I wonder why not. Adding a online ability, would instantly rise the popularity of 24/7, IMO, becuz lots of ppl would think their person is best, even though everyone would be rated 99 lol. But it would be fun as hell to play against other ppl.
