2K7 Current-gen

Lets be realistic, people are still buying the current gen 2K7, yet for some reason we don't know what we're going to get. I created this thread for all the non 360 owners who plans on buying either the Xbox or PS2 version.... On the same note, what do you guys expect(edit) to be on the current gen versions?

I would expect many of the same additions. Like the new gameplay mechanics, maybe the realtime cut-scenes, new presentation elements, updated player models, and some new animations. Also, new Association additions and the new 24/7.

Pretty much about the same thing, but obviuosly it wont have all the stuff that PS3 and 360 will have. :(

Exactly! There may be some grahical improvements, but lets face it, the graphics are maxed.

But they can still fix certain players like they did on the 360. Maybe not to that graphical extent but on a good enough level.

What are these so-called Current-gen consoles? Just kidding. Yeah, I am a little curious as to what the current gen will be like. I don't have enough 360 controllers to have all my buddies come over to play, so I'm sure we'll be playing on one of their Xboxes (or PS2s...)and I'd like to know what the differences will be like..

i think that 2k7 on the ps2 and xbox will play just like 2k6 with some new animations, and they will incorperate the new iso defense, i dont think players will have their signature shots and movements like on the xbox 360 and ps3 thats why i might hold off for a ps3 or xbox 360

i hope 2k7 on current gen gameplay looks like the 1 on the 360 but have the same or almost the same graphics as of 2k6 on the 360.

i'm gonna buy a 360 be4 next summer and i'll be getting 2k7. 4now i'm waiting for 2k7 to be released and buy it for xbox.

Yeah. I only think this game is worth on the next gen since they spent so much more time on next gen rather than current gen. I don't think they even paid attention to current gen.

Has any1 noticed dat last year's 2k6 on current gen. superstars or some other good players like(T-mac, Kobe, LeBron, Vince, Wade, Carmelo, Yao, Garnett, Duncan, Baron,...) never miss a shot even if you contest the shot.

In my game T-mac, Kobe, and Lebron are unstopable no matter what you do especially T-mac and Kobe. everytime i contest T-mac's shot or kobe they never miss. and by the end of the game each of them will score at least 50+ points against me.

I tried reducing the Shooting game Sliders and now by the end of the game the teams will end up with a lot rebounds up to 65 a game. i really hate the game now but i still love to see the my man Garnett do his real dunk with the right hand.

Actually i'm hoping to see 2k fix the gameplay. so that sometimes T-mac or Kobe will miss at least 3 to 4 open shots in game. in my game you leave these kind of guys open or contest their shots they never miss and i'm pretty sure it's not only in my game.
you may not just notice it but i did and i hate it cuz it's fake.

Lol nice triple post but on the 360 being better than the PS3 as of now I could not say the PS3 is more powerful but right know I am waiting for the PS3 to come out then I will see which is better then decide which one I want.

did y'all notice that not all the shoes were included in 2k6 like live 06.
they don't have all the jordan's, reebok's and adidas. and you can't change player's shoe like on live. you also can]t change your player's position change the cpu players jersey numbers.

has any1 noticed dat it wuz so difficult to get offensive rebounds on 2k6 on current gen. especially against the spurs or pistons. i only get 7 off. rebounds while they get 21 which gets me mad. also, when dey box me out and i try to get the reb. or tip in, they call loose ball foul on me but i do the same thing to them but they rarely call it.
especially Duncan, he'll be jumping over my man garnett for the reb. and dey neva call it. but if i do it on duncan they'll call those ballshugar fouls. it just makes me wanna break my xbox in half.
so, can yall tell me what do cuz i really flip out sometimes.

i dont hate on tim duncan. he got 3 rings and more mvp's but Garnett is better. Garnett got better skills but duncan is also better at shot blocking.

in my 2k6 game (xbox), steve nash, earl boykins, sam cassel, and jason williams all can dunk. once i put garnett against boykins then he drove on KG then dunked it.

Next-gen gamers feel that (and, of course, this sounds about right) the company should take advantage of the power of the system, and let it have features unique to next-generation only.

I assume it will have nearly every feature that the 360 version has, along with every animation and every line of commentary. The difference comes int he visuals, I believe.

Don't quote me on that, though. I haven't been in this entire pre-release party for too long now. A lot of other people know a lot more about this game than I do.

Nope, it's a dumb glitch that shows up from time to time where the computer's PG turns into Spud Webb all of a sudden. Even non-dunking PGs like Boykins and Nash suddenly gain superpowers and posterise people. It can only be done by the computer apparently, but it certainly happens and has nothing to do with sliders, dunk ratings, etc.
