I was think about things that need to be online for 2k7, and wanted to know what everybody else thought we needed.

Some things I think we need or need fiexed are..........

Records: The records should be changed like it was on previous gen systems. I didn't play it on the other gens, but from what I was told, it was based on the level of comp you play, so if your low, lets say 10th, you can't play someone ranked 5000 or somethin, and if you did, your record would drop, win or lose, but more if you lose.

Feedback: The feedback is dumb. There is so much HATER FB. If their going to keep the FB, they should at least change it. There should be a seperate feedbacks. One for street and one for regular games. Also, you shouldn't be able to give or get feeback, of any kind in unranked games. You shouldn't be able to give NEGATIVE FB because you lost. And when we check our FB, we should be able to see what the score was for EVERY game that FB was given.

Difficulty: The difficulty is set right now, to Superstar. This is ok, but I would much rather it be HOF. Some would like it to be Allstar, and other would like Rookie. I heard that on the previous 2k online, it had different difficulty lobbies, one for each difficulty. They should bring this back if this how it was. And have records for each level also. The HOF should be top, regardless of whether or not if the that person has more than the top person on the superstar level, or allstar level, etc. etc.

Record Resets: This is something thats kool wit me, but I think their should still be an overall record. So lets say there was one month, and the top person had 300 wins, then there was a reset, and the next reset that person had 80 wins, their total at this point is 380 wins, but somebody else might have 400 wins. Just a example. But the monthly resets are ok because it give a different person to be the top person, even though they might not be top overall. This could be like this for every different level.

That's All I got right now, but if I think of more, I will post it. What do you guys think about that stuff. Do you think something should be different???

*Edit*
Spectator: We were supposed to have "Spectator Mode" on nba 2k6 for online, but we never got it. I really hope they add it this time around, because that's somethin that truly says, Next Gen, and it is something thats needed and wanted by everyone.

I just hope rank isn't based on the number of wins you have, but based on the competition you play.

the thing about limiting feedback to only when you win

what if the person you played cheesed his way to a win

wouldn't you want to give him bad feedback...

but your idea could work if there was no cheese or exploits in nba 2k7

True, but it could go any way. Lets say you get cheesed or cheated and lose, just give them neutral. If they do it to you, and you win, then you can give them a negative. But the way it is now, if you play sim, and win, they'll give you a negative becuz they lost. This is extremely unfair. I hate getting Neutrals in this situation to, but it's better than negative. So it would be fair for both sides. Fair for ppl who win, and fair for ppl who get cheesed, even though you might not like giving them neutral.

yea

i just think the feedback system will always be a bit off...the way it was in 2k6 probably did condone hater feedback...luckily i never played a ranked (only league play) and kept 98% positive...but those couple of neutral and negative did bother me a bit so i understand the want for change

unless they add some spectator mode where the person watching could leave feedback on what he thought of both players...but then that would be flawed in some way as well...

It probably will always be off, but they need to do somethin about it, because the way it is now is messed up.
