Ricky Williams was almost comepletely shut down by the NY D cuz thats what they focused on, however, the Phins were still able to beat a very talented NY Giants squad on the road. They outsmarted the D with a 68 yd reverse by Mcknight and their D played great once again.

This is Miami's year and I posted this just to let everyone know that. lol peace out Im goin home, maybe I can get a few games in tonight.

...yeah, and the only reason why the reverse worked is because of all the attention to Ricky. It was ricky who actually handed it off to McKnight. Just goes to show you how much attention defenses put on ricky. Dolphins still find a way to get it done, thanks in large part to Norv Turner. He's a hell of an offenseive coord'r. If only Dan were still playing... sigh...

miami lost to the texans

In 1997 when the broncos won the super bowl they lost to the Oakland Raiders. The Oakland Raiders finished 4-12 that year. The Texans are 2-4 currently. So with that being said... what is your point?

yeah Miami won on a trick play big woop. That reverse was luck and no one should feel good about winning a game like that. The Colts beat the Bucs last night on a BS call. Yeah its a win but not one anyone should be proud of.

1. Miami won on a trick play? Ummmmm the score was 23-10 thats at least 2 scores ahead.

2. The reverse wasnt luck. It was a perfect call against a defense that was focusing on Ricky all day, called smart play-calling, not luck.

3. Miami's defense played great and caused turnovers while doing it. The offense scored 23 pts while Ricky was shutdown. I think they have alot ot be proud of by doing that on the road against a high quality opponent.

4. The Bucs got a BS call in OT and failed to take advantage. The colts got a call that is in the rule book eventhough I wouldnt have made the call as a ref cuz it decided the game. HOWEVER, WTF do you mean the colts shouldnt be proud? They broke an NFL record by becomeing the only team ever to comeback form 21 down with less than 4 min to go in a game against the best defens ein the NFL. Are you crazy nothing to be proud of? Bucs should be ashamed to allow 28 4th qrt. pts. [/quote]

The bucs were up by 21 with 4 mins to go in the game......they should have lost if the best defense in the league can't protect a 21 point lead. That call never should have been a factor. even though it was messed up.

The call was right - the rule is wrong.

And I agree - if you blow 21 points in 4 minutes, you deserve to lose.

i agree with all of the above but the bottom line is that a game should never be decided by a questionable judgement call that didnt effect the play.

Grey you agree with everything above good, cuz you were wrong about everything you said before that.

1. You said the dolphins won cuz of 1 "trick" play, WRONG 23-10 is more than one play.

2. You said the colts should not be proud to win last night? WRONG, anyteam would be proud of scoring 28 in the 4th on the supposed #1 defense and making the biggest comeback with under 4 min left in the history of the league.

3. You said the reverse Miami got for a TD was luck? WRONG, it was a perfect call cuz the defense was all over Ricky the entire game, it was a great call by the offensive co-ordinator, no luck sorry. Also, a reverse isn't a trick, its called pretty often. Especially against a D that is focusing on a RB like the Giants were.

I'm a huge Buc fan and the call on the FG is a moot point. The real point is that the Bucs defense quit and they paided for it with a loss. They should be ashamed to give up 35 points in one half.It shouldn't have even came down to that call in the first place.I just hope they can put that behind them and get a win against the Skins next week

very talented NY Giants squad

29th out of 32 teams in total defense. I wouldn't say they are very talented on the defensive side. The facts don't lie. Miami is still a decent team, but I wouldn't consider the Giants that talented this year, at least not yet. Heck, the Cowboys are 1st in offense and 4th in defense and I will tell you we haven't played a "talented" team yet. (and we have played the Giants also) But, I am not sold on their new found fame yet. Seasons young, things change. I thought the Dolphins would make the playoffs last year and they didn't. Go figure.

HOLY ****, Colts came back to win that game?

Holy mother of Jesus that must have been crappy to be a Tampa Fan at that time...

Yeah, two runningbacks named Ricky Williams in NFL...cool.

Did the Ricky Williams playing for Colts a rookie?? Cause I could have sworn there was another R. Williams in a college game I watched last year.

The dolphins dont look like a super bowl team to me so far they have had an easy schedule but just wait till they play a good team.
