anyone know if there are plans for an Amped 4?

I know Indie Built is gone...but I thought Amped 3 was hands down the best snowbarding game to date. It was extremely underrated in my opinion by critics and the media. I was curious is anyone knew if 2K still had plans to continue the series and to an Amped 4? Even if it were just like amped 3 with a new story/characters/levels it would be great. Online would be killer to as alot of you have mentioned in other threads.

I've read on some other forums that there were rumors that some of the Indie Built team that stayed with Take 2 have begun development on Amped 4. The source was a supposed former employee of Indie Built that left after the closure.

I'd love to see Amped 4, especially if they keep the same stylized presentation.

If they do make amped 4, they should bring back the right-analog grab system IMO. I loved the way amped 3 looked and loved the features, but I couldn't get myself to keep playing it because I hated the grab system. Anyone else feel the same? Also, I think they should consider adding skiing, there still hasn't been a skiing sim centered around realistic mountain riding.

If they come out with amped 4 they need to have a better multiplayer setting

If Amped 4 happens they should add skiing and have more racing. (Online Skier/Border X racing would be a good multi player mode).

Also they should make it a LOT harder and maybe add a touch of realism. (Although not at the expense of the ludcrously funny gameplay.)

I agree they need to add skiing if they make Amped 4. Also they should try to get Lib Technoligies onboard as another snowboard company. They also should make it so you can get toed in to jumps by a snowmobile, and maby have a game mode where you go arround to differen't mountains and make your own snowboard movie. Or at least clips that can be put together

What do we have to do to get another Snowboarding game on the Xbox 360, I mean come on there at least 50 basketball, football and hockey games out there, do we really need any more???? Someone at 2K must read these forums so listen up, we all want an Amped 4 or if you really have to a Snowboarding 2K8, and take into consideration what the people are puttin in posts about reverting back to the Amped 2 controls, and make it more serious too! No crapy pi** taking story line just pure snowboarding with a bit of ski-ing and online support and not just a leaderboard! We all want to shred the mountain with friends.

I really think an Amped 4 should be considered. In the serie, my favorite was Amped 1. I haven't played a lot to Amped 2 so I can't say anything about it. But, I have played a lot to Amped 1 and 3. I really prefered the control of the first one so I think you should bring this back. Maybe in Amped 3 the montain were too wide and too much freeride, not enough park.
