This is just a list of Major Rule changes that are needed for in game play, as many of the offside rulings are wrong.

Two line Pass - is when a player passes the puck before the puck comes in contact with his defensive blue line and is received by a teamate that has crossed the center line BEFORE the puck. In 2k4 even if he chases the puck after it crosses the red line it is still called a 2 line pass which is the god awful wrong call. Also there are some instances where I've been deep in the offensive zone and i pass the puck and for some reason a whistle and goes and its called a 2 line pass.

Offsides - the rule is great in this game for one exception, when you have a delayed offside and you clear the zone its still a delayed offside which is ludacris. When all players clear it should no longer be a delayed offside

Interference Penalites - These really need to be added as players can absolutely mug and crush a player who is not even remotely near the puck and can disrupt many good quality scoring chances.[/b]

You're right about the Two Line Pass rule. It's a real **** off and should be corrected.

But you're wrong about the delayed offsides. That rule was changed years ago to try to stop the teams from dumping it in and then getting set up for the trap... like New Jersey! If a team dumps it in on purpose it's supposed to be an automatic stoppage and the faceoff should take place in opposite end zone. Teams can no longer dump the puck... tag up onside and then charge back in on the "f o r e c h e c k" (why is this a bad word?)... they have to wait for the puck to come out over the blue line for the offside to end.

I wouldn't mind some interference pens... but not too many. It would ruin the fun factor in the game.

Both the Two Line Offsides and Offsides are not wholly dependant on the position of the puck. The guiding factor in making the call is where the skates are at the time of the pass and/ or reception of the pass. Hence the reason that players will straddle the blueline on dump-ins. One skate in the zone one out. Yes in this game the two line pass is occasionally wrong.

There are plenty of interference penalties, only they are called something else, unless they are on the goalie

Well I see plenty of penalties given for this. Also some that get away with it. But not if you put the penalty slider up high.
