Post them here. I may post some in a little bit.....I really don't have time right this second, but I'm too excited about having a music forum to not post in it

When you post them, please post the album name in a bolded, size 5 font. Then post a 300x300 picture of the album cover (or as close to 300x300 as you can get), followed by a brief generic description of what you liked/disliked about the album and your background with the specific artist(s), then your ratings for Overall, Subject Matter, Lyrics, Production, and Replay Value, and finally your reviews for each individual track!

Dedication Part 2(Mixtape)- DJ Drama and Lil Wayne

it's gritty and not much for commercialism, and Weezy has crazy lyrical ability.

a 8/10

I should specify, I want albums that would score higher than -3 when reviewed by Hiphop Heads.

I should specify, I want albums that would score higher than -3 when reviewed by Hiphop Heads. Fine, segregate against other genres. I see how it is.

Ludacris - Release Therapy
http://www.mtv.com/shared/promoimages/bands/l/ludacris/release_therapy_cover/281x211.jpg

I only got the CD today, and have only gone through it once while playing Madden, so my review is not 100% complete. I still have to listen to each song in depth, but here is my vague review so far.

When people think Ludacris, they think bass bumping, flowing, poetic/humorous lyrics and beats. "Whats your fantasy", "Roll Out", "Number 1 Spot", "Get Back", "Area Codes", "Move B***H", "Saturday", "Ho". Dont expect tracks like that. This is not a dancebeat CD. There are a couple good beat songs in there, Money Maker, and Girls Gone Wild. Most of his songs are more personal however, he attacks Chingy, and hints at other rappers who think you have to go to jail, get shot, or stabbed to be considered cool in this industry.

Here are my track by track 1-10 review. Again, I have only heard these about 1 time through, and I wasnt paying a whole lot of attention, so expect these numbers to fluxuate after some time.

1 - Warning (intro): 5/10 - Its just an intro, a lot of talking, nothing to see here. There is some music, but mainly talking to a beat.

2 - Grew Up a Screw Up (feat. Young Jeezy): 7/10 - Pretty good beat, nice collabo with Jeezy. I can see this one becoming pretty big.

3 - Money Maker (feat. Pharrell): 10/10 - I love this song. Got a good beat, and has good flow. Something you can really bob your head to. Good club music.

4 - Girls Gone Wild: 9/10 - Just like a baseball lineup, the best comes in the middle. Another good beat song. This song reminds me of Saturday (oh OH). Not sure why, its a good song. Has a techno beat, and has good flow, and different lyrics.

5 - Ultimate Satisfaction (feat. Field Mob): 8/10 - This is one of those, lay down the bass, songs. This is one of those songs you blast in your ride, with huge amps pumpin. Uses the same sound from the song "Satisfaction" from Benny Benassi (sp?) and the same voice of the word "Satisfaction". Field Mod adds good depth to the song.

6 - Mouths To Feed: 6/10 - This is one of those in touch songs. I am not into these slower personal songs. Again, i havent had much time to listen to all these tracks.

7 - End Of The Night (feat. Bobby Valentino): 5/10 - Think a worse version of Table Dance. Table Dance was a decent song, but I am not for these slow songs. I like Valentino on his faster songs, but not songs like this.

8 - Woozy (feat. R. Kelly): 7/10 - One of the few slow jam songs I like. R. Kelly does a good job with the voiceovers, and really makes this song pretty replayable. I like this one.

9 - Tell It Like It Is: 6/10 - This is one where he talks about other rappers. I am not into these songs with deeper meanings. Its decent, but nothing I would specifically choose to listen to. Disses Chingy.

10 - War With God: 4/10 - I cant stand this song. Its an emotional song.

11 - Do Your Time (feat. Beanie Sigel, **** C, and C-Murder): 7/10 - I like the meaning of this song. Basically it talks about how you dont have to be a thug. Good spirit lifting song. Nice Callabo too.

12 - Slap: 6/10 - A kind of catchy song, but nothing that I would really enjoy.

13 - Runaway Love (feat. Mary J. Blige): 8/10 - Tells a story about living a sneaky life, and the hardknocks. I enjoy it because the story really draws me into the song. One of the few slow songs I like. The story makes me think about things going on in the life outside of mine. Great meaningful track. Kind of touching really.

14 - Freedom of Preach (feat. Bishop Eddie Lee Long): 6/10 - Another song thats just speaks and has a tune to it. It makes you think, and draws me in, but nothing that you will jam to. But a good deep song.

OVERALL RATING: 7/10

I wouldn't say this is his best CD, but its still a good CD to buy. Worth the $15 to purchase.

I give it a
