Cassidy Critical after accident

Philadelphia rapper Cassidy is in critical condition, after an
accident last night (Oct. 4) in New Jersey injured him and four
passengers.

Cassidy suffered the most severe injuries.

While details are sketchy, the rapper was reportedly leaving New
Jersey for a recording studio, when a truck swerved into oncoming
traffic and crashed into Cassidy's side of the SUV he was riding
in.

"He was the only one that suffered critical injuries," a
representative for Cassidy's label Sony/BMG told AllHipHop.com.
"[He suffered] a fractured skull and broken bones on the left
side of his face."

Four other passengers in the vehicle also suffered injuries, but
the severity was not known at press time.

Cassidy is being held at an undisclosed hospital in the New York
City area.

More details will be reported as they become available.

Actually he didnt do the shooting. He provided the guns for it. But he had his day in court so its all good. He has been out for a while now. At least two months.

I understand how it can get to a point where you actually would have to seriously consider what Cassidy did....but Cassidy had no reason, since he was already rich and famous at the time.

Damn, I hope Cass can make a full recovery. I like his music, although I'm sure some don't, and would hate to see his career cut short in such a tragic way.

not what i was saying. I just clarified what happened. I didnt give a personal opinion about it.

That's alot of assuming that you did just now. I just wished him well. I never tried to justify what happened. Look stuff happens in the hood. Whether its good or bad. It happens. Did somebody need to get murdered??? I doubt that because life is more precious then that. But did he have a reason for it??? I dont know. Did he feel like he was protecting his friends that he gave it too?? I dont know. Was he a mastermind behind a setup to kill the kid??? I dont know. All I know is it happened. He went to court And he's home. When it comes to the judicial system you have to take what they give you. Why would I go on a rampage about a rapper who got to cop-out to a lesser charge , when I have a federal government that wants to do illegal stuff all of the time. You have to put things into perspective and there are bigger things goin on right now for me to take a stance on. I'm more concerned if WW3 is gonna go down then if Cassidy got 2-3 years.

I still like his music tho. And Janelly your assessment was everything that needed to be said.

I'm not justifying anything. Only thing I meant by that was unless you were in his shoes you wouldn't understand the situation.
