From the coming album "Kingdom Come" I'm feeling that PE sampling...

I heard that single a little while ago......

my first impressions:
The production is amazing. Jay Z always has the highest quality production for his music. He has been consistent with this since the Blueprint 1.

His flow is still on point (as usual). But he used too many slang terms that arent natural to him like "shawty", and "lil mama", and he made me feel like he was reaching for pop charts rather than making a song.......

but these are only my first impressions I'll give the song time to grow on me

You felt that way too? I'm glad I wasn't the only one feeling this way. The production though is definitely on point though.

Wow I'm impressed. I really don't care about the lyrics simply because The PE sample was used so well. Production in general is crazy. I'm normally critical about lyrics but for this type of song I can disregard them. The flow was on point and the beat is addicting.

Why does everyone think this is sampled from Public Enemy?

the joint is hot. Jay is definitly killing the beat. I like how he is using Beats that got more of a melodic flow. Gives the music more of a grown up feel to it. THat beat is ferocious. Espcecially when you hear the piano jangling the jkeys. I love that part. Right around when he saying lil mama. I give it a 9/10.
