You can download songs off Limewire and send them to a file and add them to your library.

I thought iPods were pointless too at first but once you get one your like wow this is good!!! You will save a lot of money from buying CD's all the time (i buy CD's sometimes).

Buy an iPod you haters!!!! Trust me you will like it!!! Nano's are only like $150 or $250 something like that.

Why would you do that to an expensive item???? Just give it away!!

The whole point of CDs is accumulating a collection. IPod gives you all the songs, but once the damn thing breaks you have to buy the songs all over again, and the whole time you just have an iPod with a bunch of songs on it.

If you download them you dont have to buy them off iTunes (genius). I agree with you but would you rather have songs you like or most of the songs you like cause you wont like every song on all the albums you buy!

That's why I only buy good CDs, and use Limewire to punctuate my collection and burn them on to CDs.

Do you buy a lot of CD's or do you just Burn most of your CD's? If i didnt have an iPod i would just burn all my CD's unless a good album came out like Lupe's album.

Taking a rough count/estimate, I have about 120 CDs, about 20 of which are either borrrowed and copied or mixes that I've burned.

I haven't uploaded every CD onto the computer, but my WMP library contains 2278 items at present.

People like you annoy the hell out of me. Most people think an Ipod and an MP3 player are completely different things. I cant tell you how many times people have insulted me by calling my Zen Vision an Ipod, and then looked confused once I tell them its an Creative Zen, and then still think its an Ipod.

Ipods are NOT the best MP3 players out there, they are just the best marketed. Just like Walmart if you think about it. Walmart is everywhere, sells everything. But that does not mean Walmart is the best store, its just the most known and available.THe only difference is that Walmart sells things at a low price, Ipods are very expensive for the quality.

Ignorance is bliss, indeed.

See, that's not true. I compared all major mp3 players out there.....and the Ipod was the best bang for my buck. My main drawback away from Creative's was their massive size. Way too big for any mp3 I want.

iPods are good to have if they lasted longer. See you have to keep charging it every few hours. I wish there was a way to have it last 6 hours or more. My iPod is a nano do the video ones last longer?

That is always the biggest knock on Creative, but honestly, does 1cm bother u that much? I understand the Vision is twice as thick as the Ipod Video, but this doesnt bother me. I find it more comfortable because I dont feel like I will crush it, or drop it easier. The vision is short, skinnier (left to right), and has better resoultion for the playback, battery last longer, supports WAY many more types of files (my friend cant stand that the Ipod only suppsorts 2 differnt types), and costs less money.

Yeah they are worth it cause one the battery will last longer than a CD player battery. Also iPods dont break as easy as you think. The only way it will break is if you are careless about it.

According to their website. It should last 24 hours nonstop. lol. So much for that huh?
I have a Creative Touch (my old one) and it was listed at 24 hours, it gets around 18-20 Hr's, its 20 GB, and I got it for $200.

What? Learn your physics.
Anyways, yes, the double thickness is really bothersome. I can barely stand having a cell-phone in my pocket, let alone some massive mp3 player.

You must be this guy on the right if u cant stand to have an item 4 inches tall, 2.5 inches wide, and about 1/2 inch deep in your pocket.

My cellphone is thicker, taller, and almost as wide. I would hate to lug these "massive" items around.

Mine actually can probley last 3 1/2 hours 2 is way too low when you think about it. Thats a rip off that it says 24 hours but its only 3 1/2 hours.

Well one thing about the iPods is that they lose battery quality quickly. It will slowly decrease over time until it doesnt work. Depending on how much u use it, it will be around a year until its completely unusable. My Zen started at 24 hours of life almost 2 years ago, now it gets around 18 hours.

1. I believe you’re supposed to let the battery on an iPod die (go all the way down) before you charge it again.
2. I’ve had my iPod for two and a half years and no problems.

Thats because the more u recharge it, the faster it dies. And its not unlimited recharges either. You get a few hundred I believe until it does not last any more. So its wise to let it go very low before charging.

I think you can go to a electronic store and they will put a new battery in for you.
