5 for Fighting was my initial thought when i thought "hockey songs". They are a must for this game, and I have no doubt they would be in on this. I wonder if weinthebay and other people are 2ksports are actually reading these. I hope so because it would be really cool to know we helped bring good music back to 2k games.

Five for Fighting, Nickelback and Ok Go as Chill and Joe said are very good ideas.

Uh.. Maybe try to get some of the songs that EVERY STADIUM plays like the Foo Fighter's "All My Life", Some Rob Zombie high-action stuff (Don't like the guy's music usually but they definately pump you up at a hockey game.), maybe some Muse... That's all I got.

NHL 2k8 should have some kinda pop punk and a hard rock mix to it to get people pumped up and ready to play.

NHL is all about Christian Rock and pump-up music. It is not a "black" sport like basketball tends to be (I hope that makes sense without sounding racist, considering I'm bi-racial myself).

It needs some alternative rock and metal, alot of Hockey players are metal fans, like Mudvayne, Flaw, Disturbed, Sevendust.

Mudvayne- Fall Into Sleep, Not Falling, Forget to Remember

Disturbed- Breathe, Stupify, Bound, or Prayer

Breaking Benjamin- Break My Fall, Polyamouras, Breath, Diary of Jane,

i would say white and nerdy, any nickleback, +44, angels and airwaves, mooney suzuki, kieht urban, lonestar, 50 cent, eminem, canadian bands. maybe just more songs from real NHL live games in the arena.
