If you are playing an away game you should be allowed to recruit in that area and not be charged alot of points.
Example:
Say I'm running with Long Beach State and we are playing at Chicago State, we should be able to recruit in Chicago and be charged like it's a local game.

No, I'm talking about recruiting while your team is in the area and not being charged a gang of points.
With the system in place, a national recruit is a national recruit no matter what. My thinking is a national recruit can become a local recruit while your in the area. Which would help you save recruiting points.
Instead of showing a plane on the calendar they could show a car.
