Did anyone see tonight's Cubs vs Atlanta game? Bottom of the 8th inning, the Cubs get into trouble (with their bullpen, of course). Bases are loaded with two outs, Julio Franco comes to the plate and gets quickly behind 0-2. This is where it gets amazing. He fouled off what must have been 5 or 6 strikes before running the count up to 3-2 and then cleared the bases with an off-the-wall shot. I was like "OMG, that was one of the best at-bats I have ever seen." And just then the TBS announcer was like "that's one of the best at bats I've seen in a long time". Franco put on a real clinic that time at the plate...catch the highlights on ESPN if you can - it's sure to be on there.
