Fordham Rams

First off I would like to say what a good community this is. I have been lurking the past couple days and learned to love the site so I decided to register and post my dynasty. I just go the game on Saturday so I am a relative newbie but I am pickin' it up fast. I've already started my legacy with the Fordham Rams in the Atlantic 10 confrence. I used created names since you could only get 144 teams from PS2rosters.com's roster save. So here goes nothin...

- not clutch, bad midrange game

SR PF Blair Stephens (80)
+ good close and midrange game, in-traffic finisher, clutch, aggressive scorer,
- bad low post D for a PF, tires easily

SO C Larry Brown (66)
+ excellent lowpost game, shot blocker, good rebounder, good height (7'1)
- no mid-range shot what-so-ever, hack-a-shaq type of FT shooter, limited passing skills

Fordham BENCH

SO SG Don Allen (75)
+ above average ball handler, good stealing abilities
- below average durabillity, bad D awarness compared to the starters

Press Confrence

Reporter: Coach, How do you think the first of the season has gone?

Me: We have been in tight games all through-out the season so far and we have lost it in the last minutes. Why did the fine folks down at Kush Entertainment make it so dang hard to shoot a "free" throw??? Anyway we are headed in to our home opener against Northeastern confident coming off of that win against Fairfield.

Reporter: Speaking of that game, I heard that there was going to be a prospect there watching you guys play? Is this true?

Me: Yes, this is true. Centerman Abe Walcott has accepted our invitation to watch us play against Northeastern. We are gonna show him around the campus and make him comfortable. We need a back-up center and we think this guy could be just that.

Reporter: A back-up center? Don't you have Kevin Gardener, who is rated a better overall than Larry Brian??

Me: Yes we do but he isn't workin out in my system. I like to play an inside out type of game but once he gets the ball he either misses a shot or throws a wild pass when throwin it back out to the pointman. Look for him to be cut in the offseason if he doesn't show improvement.

Reporter: Cut? Isn't that harsh?

Me: Yes, It is.

Reporter: Well good luck against NE coach.

Me: Thanks

Fordham vs. Northeastern Game Preview

Fordham comes in with a record of 2 and 3. NE has a unblemished record of 1 and 0. Hopeful recruit Abe Walcott will be present at the game. The Rams look to stop a sneak attack victory and bag a win to bring their record to .500.

"I'm looking to get Milton involved a little more in the offense, that shouldn't be so hard to do with a passer like Corey at the point so watch for him to rack up the assists as Pete does the same with the moneyball."

RAMS WIN IN QUADRUPLE OVERTIME THRILLER

The Fordham Rams went into the game on Friday looking to pick up a victory in any way possible, but they never expected to go four overtimes for it. It was back forth through-out the regulation time. With a few seconds left on the clock Peter "Mr. Clutch" Milton Drained a 3 ball to take it to overtime. Cory Fraizer only scored 4 points in the first half but cought fire in the rest of the game scoring the rest of his 36 points. He hit shots through out over time despite playing with 4 fouls all of the overtimes!! In the later OTs Mr Clutch drained shot after shot to keep them alive. Then in the 4th overtime the Rams pulled ahead for good on guess what... a Milton Moneyball.

"It was the best game I have ever seen!!! It was insane! Shot after shot, three after three! I'm glad we pulled out with the win this time. I think Mr.Walcott got his visitsworth outta this game. Right after the game ESPN Classic called me and asked me if they could air the game the next night, which would be Saturday night primetime. How could I say no!!!???!!!!"

Ya, I was goin crazy! My guys kept hittin clutch shots to take it to the next OT. Then in one OT (I forget which one) the PG of the Huskies swished an Incredibly long 3 that tied it with seconds to go. But this was the best baksteball game i have played in a videogame by far. Thanks, I'm trying my best.

Holy Cross Crossed Up in Ram Bashing

The Rams walked all over the Holy Cross Crusaders tonite in a 85-57 bashing. The Rams were up by as much as 41 in the second half but HC went on a mini run towards the end of the game. The Rams dominated in the Rebounding departement grabbing 44 to the Crusaders 19.

"My guys showed up tonight to play. They gave all-out effort and I am proud of them. I hope there wasn't a recruit there tonight because we probably sent 'em home crying. There was one stat that worried me though. We commited 16 turnovers in the game."
